Tower of Doom map will reveal rooms if cleared by Guild members

The issue: Players use 3rd party community-made tools to track Tower of Doom rooms to help each other within the Guild target rewards. This required players to leave the game to do so.

The suggestion: Update the Map UI to show which rooms have been cleared by another Guild member and the rewards available.

The outcome: Still currently investigating the scope of this. Will share an ETA once we have one.

I have a zone-mapping version of the Tower map up at Tower of Doom Map . Note that this is a separate URL from the “normal” map (tower2 instead of tower), because I don’t want to risk introducing bugs to the “normal” map during a Tower week. Also note that it shows the same data—you won’t have to re-enter your rooms.

The zone map only appears in “wide” view and is pretty much a direct implementation of your suggestion, @Zuul-Emo. Since “wide” view is already wide, making it a little wider is NBD. I’ll need to think of a different approach for “narrow” view. I restricted the scroll selections in the early levels, too, e.g. Fireball isn’t available until floor 7.

There are some odd visual bugs I haven’t figured out yet but the functionality seems solid. Those who are willing, try it out.
