Curious about the letters. Why E, R, U, and L?

In my guild we post what’s in every room we scout, then I screenshot it and can summerise what’s been discovered so far, using previous screenshots. We don’t use chat massively, so it works OK, but it’d be way easier to have the game just share that info among the guild, so we don’t have to do this.

Those are rarities, Epic, Rare, Ultra-Rare, Legendary.

Oh, right. I tend to just think of the rooms as colours or numbers, but that makes sense. Thanks. =]
