Steal random enemy traitstone.
I couldn’t justify his usefulness on the possibility of getting a measly major traitstone, but giving life would be nice. He would be like the Summoner…without the summon.
Keep in mind he is only a UR, not an epic.

I’m aware. It’s a fun debate, but I guess I can’t justify using him.
change “boosted by red” to “turns red gems to brown gems + boost by red or brown”
Thematically it would fit the smithing process to use up fire/burning coals (red) and the rest is ash (brown).
And this yould give us a tactical advantage and maybe some synergy.

Enough of a boost to his spell would be turn all red to brown and give target ally what he already gives + 4:1 rate (same as now) for every red converted. Brown gem generators are quite rare so this would be nice addition to that part.
I would be down with that!
