What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened Expected the “Taken to Task” achievement to unlock. The description is to “fully complete 2 campaign tasks in a single campaign”. Completing not only 2, but even all 3 tasks and claiming rewards, did not unlock anything.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening? Always. Nobody has been able to unlock this achievement since the requirements became possible, and many waited for rollover specifically to try.
Steps to make it happen again Complete 2 full sets of campaign tasks in a campaign.
I’m not surprised at this point, I’ve been playing since summer 2020 and literally not one single update has ever launched with properly functioning achievements in my 5 years of playing this game.
Thank you for that link, I had looked for recent stuff that would have happened after it was (supposed to be) unlockable, didn’t think to look back two weeks ago. Not sure that “not a bug, just idiocy from 505” is any better than yet another addition to the endless list of problems, that’s an absolutely insane explanation. For Jeto to call that not a bug is beyond asinine, because the alternative is that they added the achievement to the game (while the requirements didn’t exist to meet it, a common occurrence from them for some weird reason), had the requirements eventually be able to be met, and then just… decided to make it so it still wouldn’t unlock for no reason? I really don’t know which is worse, but I can’t say either one is unexpected anymore.
I think it’s just a badly worded Achievement. Rather than completing any two tasks in a single week, which is how I first interpreted it, they’re telling you to the same two tasks of your choosing every week for ten weeks, the entire duration of the campaign.
This Achievement entered the game at week six, or something. i do dislike when they add them before they’re even attainable.
