Heroes in a half-shell, Turtle Power!

New Troop: Dragon Turtle

Only found in the deepest waters, and rarely at that, Dragon Turtles seem to be mostly turtle, with a little bit of Dragon somewhere back in the family tree.
They are mostly peaceful creatures, but have enough Dragon in their bloodline to occasionally eat a ship or two.

Sages have long pondered the exact relationship between Dragons and Turtles and reason for this creature’s existence… The only real viable explanation is that somewhere back many centuries ago, a very bored Dragon saw a rather sizeable turtle and became unusually curious about… stuff. Regardless, it’s possible that these creatures live for so long that they may all be offspring of that original and (hopefully) singular encounter.

New Troop: Hammerhead

Hammerheads are one particular species of Merfolk who seem to always turn out bad.
We’re not sure if it’s because of the bullying they receive, due to their oddly-shaped heads, or if they’re just inherently bad, and their heads have evolved so it’s difficult to look them in the eyes and tell if they’re lying.

Either way… Never trust a Hammerhead.

New Status Effect: Submerged
Avoid all damage effects targeting the whole team. The effect wears off if the troop takes an action.

Please note this Event is exclusive to the Steam, iOS and Android versions of the game.

What does submerge?

Sharks and turtles!! Lol

Love the topic name.

Curious, what does Submerge do?

Love the look of the turtle and hammerhead!

If I understood it correctly it is immune to one AoE attack when its activated.

If there is an AOE attack, it will skip any submerged troops.

edit: sniped.

Not sure if it will be similar to stealth, so that if all troops are submerged that, effectively, none are.

Added this to the post to clarify Submerged.

Does that mean Tesla/Rowanne f.example will deal more spread around damage to other troops when cant deal any damage to submerged troops.

No. The damage is calculated based on number of alive troops. The submerged troop will dodge the damage similar to Agile. Note that the damage will still display, but will not affect the submerged troop.

EDIT:

No, it works more like Agile in that all the troops will dodge the damage. Though it’s worth noting that once a submerged troop takes an action it loses it’s submerged status (similar to Enraged).

If an enemy troop has Barrier and 3 other has not, Tesla/Rowanne deals the normal damage amount still spread around to the 3 troops without barrier. If I remember correctly? So then Submerge works differently?

Still weird so 1 submerged troop Protect everyone?

Only himself/herself. If all troops has Submerged activated all is protected tho.
