How much neater does the one on the right look? Paint-level rectangular artifacts included. I brought this up something like two whole years ago and it just got swept under the rug: put the four basic resources in the same @$%#%$^ line! Please!

THAT took me a few minutes and I am obviously no visual designer, this should have been fixed ages ago.

I agree that the right UI is better but I’m sure it was done that way because of mobile phones (especially with not a big screen). Personally, I’d hate if the menu buttons on the right side will be lower on my phone.

This is from my phone. iPhone 5SE, definitively a pretty small screen by today’s standards.
And still has plenty of room to work with.
