Trait 1: Greedy (Gain 2 bonus Gold on 4 or 5 Gem matches.)
Trait 2: Rogue Bond (Allied Rogues gain 2 Life.)
Trait 3: Water Link (Gain bonus Blue Mana from Blue Gem matches.)

Damn those are another round of awesome troops. First awesome round with dragon kingdom, then this. Devs are getting better and better at kingdom creation!

Love the use of gold as a modifier for dmg…

Does this solve the TDS question about his third trait?

Have him explode on death dealing AoE dmg and granting mana based off souls collected.
5 souls: 1 ratio so, 8 dmg and 8 mana to allies, if at 40 soul cap, more with a necropsy deck.

Just spitballing… :wink:

Can’t wait for the new “booty”!!

I suspected as much. Still looks like a troop liable to suffer from the same usage issues as Nobends, though. Only one effect scales off of magic? I feel that everything except Devour and Gain Magic should scale at some ratio.

Where does the two week time come from? If I recall correctly, Dragon’s Claw was released well ahead of its event.

I think Nim mentioned that the kingdom was being delayed due to it not being ready to be released. They have in the past added the kingdom on the Friday before the weekly event, Dragon’s claw is an exception (or it can be the new standart)

Your timeline sort of proves my point. Dragon’s Claw was released more than a week before its event, and I think I remember something similar happening with Leonis, Drifting Sands, and/or Glacial Peaks. So the kingdom ought to come out ~10 days early, or this Friday. :tada:

Last I heard the new kingdom is coming November 2nd or 3rd, but I have no confirmation on that. Would make sense since next mythic is confirmed next Friday, so all keys would be used then for both.

next week is the new mythic (the 31st-6th), and there won’t be a new kingdom at the same time as new mythic I assume :wink: that’s why Nim repeatedly said “not next week”. Then there’s the Pirate kingdom event on the 14th, that makes for a relatively reliable assumption that the new kingdom will be released around 10th-11th of November.

also it’s been a while since we have new DEVOUR! and it’s not a trait to devour on skull proc, yay
