Are there any details available about the weapons and traits for the other new classes?

There is also a placeholder “Bard” class, but it has no traits, perks, or weapon assigned to it. Looks like it might be yellow-based, and I would guess it takes Arcane Light.
Thanks @Lyya.
Oracle might be one I’d actually use.
Interesting. Maybe I’m out-of-date, but Bard’s looking more Blade-y than Light-y to me.
Yes, you’re right, my bad. That being said, that class is so bare-bones at the moment that my personal recommendation is to Wait and See before hoarding stones for it.
Just hoard all the stones! xD
And nothing can surprise you ^^
Wait… Do those troops have a trait you choose?
Like a hero class?!?!?
EDIT: nvm Though those were troop not new classes
It’s perks and every hero class has them. You chose one to use. Traits are separate from perks.
To me it looks much more likely that it’ll be Light. Its icon has green and yellow, plus the only Bard connection that I can make is Elwyn in Pan’s Vale
NEVERMIND. I just looked, it IS Blade. Didn’t notice the colours in the corner of the icon picture
Any idea what the unique third traits do @lyya?
The weapons are very meh, the traits may be the only thing making them interesting…
(in general I think heroes with classes are still completely underwhelming - they should get all three Perks, not have to choose one, for example)
BARD: No idea, has no traits yet (Arcane Blade, caveat lector)
DEATHKNIGHT: Deathly Aura: Death Mark a random enemy on 4 or 5 Gem matches. (Arcane Dark)
ORACLE: Portent: All Centaurs gain 2 Magic when an enemy casts a spell. (Arcane Plains)
TITAN: Giant Lord: All Giants start battle with 50% Mana. (Arcane Blood)
Even the Stormheim hero class and weapon look awefully uninspired, just meh basic damage, boring and weak traits, Stormheim really seems to be on the backburner currently.
i agree that deathknight will be the new meta defence.
It’s a pretty silly mechanic really. I’m totally confused why the devs thought this would be a fun idea to implement in the game.
Who really wants to fight all his/her PVP battles against teams that can just RNG you into oblivion like that?
The AI prioritizes 4 and 5 matches, so the deathmark will be applied quite a lot by AI defense teams that run a deathknight class hero. Which means that pure RNG luck will most likely decide a lot of battles for players playing PVP invades. That doesn’t sound like fun to me…
I use Deathmark sometimes as a lazy method to complete warlord IV battles for more seals. It’s surprisingly effective and Deathknight will definitely find his use in this.
However, I still think that Death Mark is just a stupid design. I sometimes wish it to be an effect similar to Hunter’s mark. But instead of double skull damage it’s double spell damage. I would like it more that way.
Im all for more rng! we need a devour on 4-5 matches next!
Don’t always trust the spoilers at first glance. Most of the time they end up changed. I really don’t see the devs going through with it as described.
Priceless. If this had a sound loop attached, it would probably be saying “Extra Turn”.
you’re a magician!
i can hear the sound track loop of it…
