I guess we’re not going to wait for the 3rd map to jump into Power 21+ after all.
Quite surprised that as close to release completion that the Underworld is, that we’re going to tie renown to Power now? Not enough players actually striving to push for delve 500 runs to warrant this?
Still, how many players are going to seriously have all of the Champion classes maxed at 100 for these requirements to even matter? A handful, at most?
I have to imagine that the faction renown task will be for 2000 renown (or maybe even less), not 2500. Given how players are trying to scrounge up all the available stats to make pure faction runs easier, gating those stats behind pure faction runs seems cruel.
If a player has already 2 pets at level 20 (in some cases), most likely already got all the renown needed for a faction. Why attach renown in late power levels?
Not counting some kingdoms with several cosmetic pets that someone may have chose to buy to max.
Some of the kingdoms like Stormheim will see some advancement from most people. While a daunting task, not every Champion level needs to be 100 at the same time, only the ones reaching KP20.
GOW.db’s front page is filled with players who have maxed out all classes, and there’s 80 on a page. And that’s just those who bothered to link their account. I’m sure there are more who have’nt.

How is your anxiety about the new Update? I’m here in expectation. In time, could someone tell me what some troops say when they use their skills? I can understand some, others cannot. If someone can get a glimpse of the lines, it would help me a lot, even if out of curiosity.
For example, what does Egg Thief say? Among others, of course.
If anyone can help me, thank you.
Kudos for a different type of troop, potentially interesting for scaling content outside of faction. If it stole from magic+another skill, it would be flat out good.
I get that they need to do something with the third trait to not overlap with Dervish, but wish they could make it more fun, kind of stinks as-is. Monster typing limits them to some extent (5 to a random skill would be an improvement, but imagine that+Dervish on an Arachnaean Weaver team), but maybe something like 50% chance for 2 to all skills would split the difference?
Also not crazy about the upcoming weapons either. Too dependent on enemy team composition, and lethal damage is whatever - the only interesting boosters for it tend to be on Mythics. Hammer of Force is the closest to being usable, since it creates a self-feeding storm on cast, but it still needs more.
Lastly, I haven’t seen it mentioned, I see no Mythics on the release calendar for the next few months (save Kurandara). Is the season/campaign going to be the only way new Mythics are going to be released going forward? What about non-faction Legendaries?
(Not that I think this would be a bad change necessarily; it’s arguably an improvement. Just seems like a big deal to sweep under the rug, as it seems is being done.)
As far as we know, the regular mythic releases will continue as before. I think they’ve just been too busy with the update to prepare them. There is a “Lava Spirit Wolf” mythic on Taran’s world, with no info yet, I expect that’s the next mythic for August.
