At this point I would suggest that no one should regret or even get mad at it. Simply ignore the power creep bait and try to play the game as long as it’s enjoyable.
We keep grinding resources day in and out, we keep trying to help our guilds and guildmates and even outsiders/new players given the chance and some of us still want to support the game IF we are offered something worth of such support, A.K.A good deals. But if said deals are just fodder for power creep that DOESN’T improve the player’s experience why should anyone even bother with it?
Of course, experiences can vary, and some might have their own kind of fun with bragging rights and completionist’s goals. But for the average player those things WON’T change the game in any significant way.
+X Magic, +Y Attack, +Z Armor, +W Life will not suddenly make Raids, Invasions, Bounty Hunts, World Events, Arena, Delves and some other game modes essentially more enjoyable or better.
Also: It won’t make the gnolls playable or fix the mediocre “artworks” of some cards… And this new Mythic is both bad and poorly draw!

Because we can’t even get 75% of the kingdoms to level 15 due to the stingy amount that Imperial Deeds are made available… Even to buy.

Disagree. We are VERY close to having enough magic to make Thrall/Marilith/Bogstrider destroy the entire board. This would make lots of modes superficially easy.

I was so busy trying to get the requirements for Zuul these past months that I didn’t pay much attention to how crazy this game has gotten. All I plan to do right now for the short term is getting some more Mythics, powering up a few more kingdoms, and maybe maxing out a couple of hero classes I’ve been meaning to use. All this crazy stuff will still be there when I get done. I just hope they don’t put in another Zuul’Goth type character in the game.

Also, waiting with dread over the inevitable “Combine 10 Type Deeds in the Soulforge to craft 1 Book of Type Deeds.”
Deeds are so going to be sold in the Elite/Elite+ Passes.
And this is likely the devs’ response to players scoffing at the very high deed prices in the Daily Deals shop. Players are not going to be able to ignore them now.

If 5.0 doesn’t radically overhaul how deeds are acquired, this is going to push a lot of people to the breaking point. Multi-year RNG progression isn’t fun, it’s frustrating.
Deeds seem to be universally and deeply hated; I don’t understand adding more to the system. Hopefully there’s a big change in 5.0, at least to the imperial deed drop rate.

Easy and better/enjoyable are not the same thing in many levels. And by the same token making it harder will not achieve much, specially when it’s hard because it’s painfully long/time consuming.

Taran’s doesn’t show a new Bounty Hunter troop, but the in-game Games menu still shows as a new Bounty Hunt coming in 4.5 days… So is it reasonable to assume that 5.0 HAS to launch before Friday?

Parrot as bountyhunter will be huge, you can acquire max boost without spending the gems now.
