for those that like to plan ahead:
Eldrazhor faction spoilers… yes, already

Not another roguelike.

I like the flavor text lol. The spell itself should be very handy to prevent skull damage and… its stealthy. Yikes.

Deep Huntsman
Don’t buy him at the pet shop, he’s cheaper on the web.
Base Rarity: Ultra-Rare
Troop Type: Elf, Beast
Troop Role: Generator
Skittering Charge
Explode [Magic + 1] Green or Purple Gems. Then Curse and Web the first Enemy.
Mana Color: Green, Brown
Mana Cost: 13
Fun flavor text with Curse + Web on the first enemy. Explodes and guarantees a Tomb Spider on death. Well…
-
Deep Magus
Otherwise known as the Deep Friar.
Base Rarity: Epic

Troop Role: Mage
Glyph of Shadows

Immune to Mana Drain, Silence, Faerie Fire, and Web.

Reduce damage from Spells by 25%.
Half-magic is really bad, but webbing all or cursing all is pretty dang strong.

Matron Velenne
Mother knows best.
Base Rarity: Legendary
Troop Type: Elf
Troop Role: Assassin
Queen’s Lament
Deal [Magic + 1] damage to an Enemy. There’s a 10% chance to kill them, boosted by Cursed and Webbed Enemies. [4x]
Mana Color: Green, Purple
Mana Cost: 17
Trait #1: Deep Vitality
Gain 9 Life when attacking Delves.
Trait #2: Dark Ancestry
Immune to Mana Drain, Silence, Faerie Fire, and Web.
Trait #3: Dark Web
Curse and Web a random Enemy when matching 4 or more Gems.
Well, if the Widow Queen wasn’t used before, it really won’t be now. Curse + Web combo on a 4/5 is nasty. Since you can curse before webbing with these troops, hitting 42% insta-kill rate is possible. (and less with less troops on their team)
Part of me is tempted to say to run 1 of each, but we’ll see. Rather not think about it till after Tinkertown.
