Meh, I don’t know if I’d consider that a viable strategy, for a few reasons.
- As a mythic, it’s Mana cost is a little high to get this off right away.
- Even if you make multiple matches at once, Lycanthropy will still only be cast on a single troop.
- You’re still relying on a status effect that only has a chance to proc, and can be cleansed by Orpheus medals before it does, never mind a cleanse/bless from a spell or trait.
- So many troops are already immune to it. Undying, Immune, Fortitude, Impervious, maybe another I’m forgetting, all prevent it.
- Even if it works, you’ve still left them with a level 20 troop with full health.
It’s just Death Mark with extra steps, except it doesn’t actually remove any troops from the team. And we don’t really see Death Mark as a meta defense strategy in GW.
