Sorry, but that’s Fake News
We’re sorry, but your orbs are in another update
Well… that’s certainly an interpretation of “Always believe in yourself!”
On other non-Orbs related issue, I sneak around on offical twitter and see the screenshot of battle scene, not much is change except cards’ boarder color. I afaird that life/armor/attack stat will on one line like the troop cards, glad that’s not the case.
I ready to playing 3.3 now. I hope it is coming soon this month! ^^
Hang on, Fake news, so @awryan didn’t start the rumors…
So the rumors could be true… New update tonight confirmed! WooHoo!!!
That’s been confirmed for like 2 weeks. Lol
(Post edit, sorry I read that as new kingdom tonight) lol
Worth noting that 3.3 and Shentang aren’t the same release
“The update” I assumed @awryan was referring to was 3.3. Which is not coming tonight.
So Shentang is coming tonight? It would be good, seeing as Chinese New Year and all that.
Well I just recieved the new weapon on leveling
Thanks, fixed it (meant update not kingdom)
Need coffee…
Lol… No assumptions. The message had read new kingdom tonight. Which had been confirmed for a while. Lesson learned…I need to always show quotes. Well starting after this reply. Lol
Patch notes are ready though. @Ozball just isn’t sharing them yet. Be our WikiLeaks!
We will know on Sunday whether or not 3.3 will be released next week. See Spoilers for additional info.
ok so just 2 things here…am i the only one who can barely see half the name reading it as ter of adows and also can you put the mana orb on a black cast too please cause some cards this sorely blends in and its hard to see if it says 1/12 or 11/12 thanks for reading this
This all seems to point to a major nerf in the arcane traitstone drop rate for explore. In return you will be able win occasional gold treasure from gnomes. You will also be able to use orbs as an alternative way to ascend your troops.
Maybe, but they are also increasing the rate that they are releasing new troops and with the number of troops in the game, they need to have some accomodation for people who are starting their collections now. New players need some shortcuts in order to be able to achieve anything in this game. It isn’t all about end-game players.
Well said, even for speed farming in explore you’ll need a good setup of upgraded kingdoms and specific troops ascended and maybe a good guild with all tasks completed to provide extra stats. I believe the extra gold covers the upgrades for kingdoms earlier and the orbs will cover the most basic needs for troop’s upgrade. I don’t think we’ll lose anything with the new rewards.
Whatever the motivation, the safest thing you can do right now in the 2 weeks before 3.3 hits is to grind out as many traitstones as possible. Their value is about to skyrocket. I would also hold off upgrading to the new patch until it becomes a mandatory update.
I’m cautiously optimistic that this is the case also. I’m not quite a hardcore player, but a serious and thoughtful one, and even I’m having trouble making headway on the few things I still need to work on with the rate that they are releasing new content.
I’ve been grinding traitstones for months now and am loving this week’s event, though I haven’t had as much time to play as I would have liked. Hopefully I can spend a few hours this weekend and get a couple more objectives crossed off.
We still don’t know the catch, but a major nerf to explore speed or acquisition rate of Arcanes would be rather ill advised. Since traitstones are such a slow burn resource, nerfing their acquisition while people have stashes of thousands just widens the gaps between the haves and have nots, especially when you consider orbs of wisdom making the slow burn an even slower burn. You need over 4400 total arcanes to trait everything currently in the game (a number that raises every week), so if you aren’t already closing in on the line, it would make that an even more impenetrable goal and raise their barrier to entry. And if you early game, a single explore battle is actually way more difficult than your average PvP battle. If you are midgame, thats a huge daunting number. And endgamers are going to stay on or over the line regardless (I haven’t needed to explore in many months) unless massive arcane sinks are also added. Basically, nobody is gaining traits “too fast” because of explore, so it wouldn’t make sense to nerf it heavily in that regard - it won’t smooth the progression curve, it won’t monetize, and it certainly wont help with player retention.
This is my hope as well. Some people will see the loss of some guild wars cycles (more accurately, the gems that come with them) as a huge nerf and I hope thats where it stops.
