There are things that can be done to make even low-rarity tokens useful for all players

Recipes in Soul Forge to upgrade medals

Such recipes exist for other currencies with an associated rarity (ingots, traitstones). Why not medals? Given that 3 medals of one rarity are worth a single medal of the next rarity (in terms of upgrade chance), perhaps this recipe could cost 4 lower medals and 1000 souls, and award 1 of the next level. Ex: 4 Gaard + 1000 souls = 1 Yasmine

Progress Bar for Elite Levels instead of RNG

Can’t hurt to ask, I suppose. Simple enough request: replace elite level “chance to upgrade” with a cumulative percentage. No going over 100%, when you hit 100%, you get that elite level. Same exact costs and rates apply. The current “chance” a medal has to upgrade just becomes what percentage of the level they will grant, which will stick on the troop until it “levels up”. There has been no response from a developer on either of these suggestions, but perhaps if enough people like them or comment on them, we can earn a forums badge push the devs to implement one of them in a future update.
