Also, anyone who purchased the PvP Season Pass on the weekend and already collected the rewards before the rollback.
The collected rewards appear to not be restored with the purchase or mailed out like they normally are.

It also might display as a Guild Wars medallion :melting_face: I have fixed this manually myself for the players affected by this specific instance

This was in my box this morning. Oddly, I got two of them, and I got another, seemingly empty mail saying “Accept this mail to fix the PVP pass” and I got nothing from that either.

Is it possible to include Reddit in future social media posts? There’s still a small community of players who use the /r/gemsofwar subreddit to chat and even get some information.

Update: 7:44 AM AEDT 27/03

Compensation is currently expected to be sent out globally today, and the Library Pass and missing Library rewards for lvl 50+ players, will be sent after the weekend.

This is the total list of resources that are expected to be sent out. This list will split into three pieces of mail:

  • 250 Gems
  • 10 Gem Keys
  • 10 Event Keys
  • 50,000 Gold
  • 1000 Souls
  • 250 Glory
  • 100 Gold Marks
  • 100 Burning Marks
  • 3 Gold Icons (equal to 15,000 VP)
  • 10 Shiny Keys
  • 300 Dragonite
  • 100 Diamonds
  • 1 each of Verse
  • 2 Vault Keys
  • 1 Epic Vault Key
  • 250 Star Stones

We are not sending individual compensation, this mail will be sent out globally to all platforms.

I’ll also follow up when the 200 Campaign Stars will be added to players accounts who had purchased the Campaign Pass, as I mentioned yesterday.

If any of the above changes or there are any delays, I will of course post here again.

After the weekend means new PvP season then? Or before the current season ends? Then those 3 Icons are worth 1500 and not 15.000 VP when players log in again?!

Global comp is planned to go out today, while this Season is active.
Library Pass and missing Library rewards are after the weekend, which is irrelevant to the Season.

Actually this is perfect timing because players can choose to collect it for this season or wait to collect the Gold icons/VP rewards until next week which would count for next season.

Is there any chance you could ask them to put the gold icons in one of the non-star stones mails? I’d love to have the choice to wait until Monday to claim those particular icons.

I am pretty sure the Gold Icons will be in it’s own mail with the other PvP rewards.

It’s not often that I am surprised, but as a Switch player, that was certainly more compensation that what I expected. They have certainly come a long way since May 2024 with “Catch up and Quit.”:rofl:

I have mixed feelings. It’s definitely better than I feared, but not as good as I hoped. There’s some stuff there that feels below where I think it should have been, but a couple of things that are above my expectations, so I guess it balances out - to some degree.
(For example, we got extra diamonds, but no amethysts, I’m fine with that, while others might be less happy. We also didn’t get many gems - a day of tributes alone would give way more for many players - but we got extra star stones.)
The fact we’re getting icons, which we can hopefully redeem this season or next, is a good way to handle the VP.
Overall, this feels like it mostly compensates for lost stuff, for most players. Not for the time lost, or the bad communication. But I guess that’s too much to ask for, apparently. We’ll have to see how players feel about this, in general.

More than anything, I hope this gets sent out smoothly and then the devs devote some time to fixing bugs and trying to ensure this sort of issue never happens again. So many of us have said they need to do a few patches with just bug fixes, nothing new, and a huge fustercluck like this might be a good time for them to step back and make that a priority before they start anything else. We have bugs in the game that are years old and still not addressed, and it would be great for them to spend time hunting some of the older ones down.
But we’ll see what happens.
