It is indeed – as a developer myself I feel really ashamed when others in the craft miss the mark and without a good reason. I do miss deadlines time to time, but the client gets a notice and update in real time.
I really can’t think of an excuse to NOT post a message, it takes less than a full minute.
I’m not sure @Pasa, if that’s what you should feel ashamed of. I do hope that you are a VIP Level 10 member with these sort of expectations.
Good luck to @Sirrian and the team. Am sure that dealing Apple is not the easiest, nor would be prioritising your issue to them given the thousands of other Apps they must be dealing with in some sort of order.
Hey gang, I can appreciate that the wait can be frustrating sometimes, but please do be respectful to all forum goers
As soon as there’s an update to share, you’ll hear all about it I’m sure!
No, I’m not the VIP, I am the guy who, when something happens edits the announcement or sends the messages around as part of my job and best practice of old times…
Too bad James Cameron is on a long leave, the bar could use another lifting…
Yep, please do everyone. You’re allowed to frustrated, but please consider how you go about sharing that frustration. Having a go at each other and using inappropriate language for the Gems of War forum is not the way.
Okay - we’re bringing the servers back online now.
Just so everyone is aware, we’ve got a few issues that we’ll try to resolve in the background:
We’ve disabled some of the new purchases in the shop while we resolve our issue with Apple
The Troop Menu is running a bit slow… sorry… working on it right now!
If you scroll backwards in the weapon menu (and occasionally in the troop menu) it will lose some images. This is super annoying for us, because we’re SURE it had been tested! We’re investigating this too
Thank you for all your hard work guys, we really do appreciate how much you put into this, and how communicative you are. Hopefully many of us will show you how much with our dollars!
I know it’s past now, but with the Server Maintenance message on PC/Steam, when I clicked Okay, nothing really happened and I was still on the game screen with the message - the game didn’t exit or anything. I had to Close the Process/App by hitting the Windows button to bring up the task bar and right-clicking the GoW icon. Is not closing the game when clicking Okay intended or unintended? For the future, of course
