Revenge freezes game with loading icon android

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?
Expected to start revenge match in pvp

Actually happened: after selecting an opponent, the whirling loading icon appears but the match progresses to the next screen. Have to quit the game (not just go to a different tab and come back) and restart. No GoW buttons respond.
What are the steps to make it happen again?
Never happens on the first revenge match. Happens EVERY time when I try to start a revenge match after having just completed a revenge match. I

If you back out to the map and go back to PVP each time it will stop the freezing. Also you can go back and hit invade then cancel out and go back to the revenge to stop the freezing as well. Not the best solution but works for now while it is bugged.

I’ve had this issue on my android device as well. The only thing that fixes it for me is completely restarting the game after every defense fight. I have gotten to the point where I rarely play on my mobile now because of it.
