[reported] Mother Malice Casting Bug

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:

I was expecting Mother Malice to function where each cast comes out separately, like Baphomet, Tina-9000, Morthani’s Darkness etc. Instead, it does a weird two-hit at once, followed by a 3rd and 4th shot done separately.

Unfortunately, this also leaves it vulnerable to the usual casting bug where the attack doesn’t come out if it’s preaimed at a dead enemy.

And Mother Malice a.k.a the “Peashooter” has arrived for those who bought the campaign pass. Her traits are Fantastic, and that’s her main selling point, but the spell got nerfed into the ground…

The damage boost ratio is useless, and they need to remove it. I do not know why they removed the triple damage to poisoned enemies, so they need to give her a chance to kill enemies if they are poisoned, just like Scorpius to give more team flexibility.

Grim Brew: 24 :blue_circle::green_circle::purple_circle:

Deal [magic + 4] damage to 4 random enemies. If the enemy is poisoned, there is a 20% chance to kill them.

Grim Brew+: 22 :blue_circle::green_circle::purple_circle: (shown for when all shiny levels are unlocked)

Deal [magic + 4] damage to 4 random enemies. If they enemy is poisoned, there is a 30% chance to kill them.

I did not want to make her instant kill chance too high because I was comparing it to Piscea, who has 2 separate 30% chances to devour. But since the developers are intent on making her damage useless, this is the best alternative.

And please. Fix the targeting issue on Mother Malice and all future troops that “target” random enemies with multiple instances of damage.

She’s actually kinda okay with the Astral Spire buffs and the extra boost ratio with the shiny. I’m not sure how I feel about the Astral Spire being a crutch to make Mythics viable..

I mean, the damage seems okay on Mother Malice (I will test it when I get her), but based on what my guild mates said, “Why not just add a touch of Scorpius to free up a troop slot for something else?”

Her traits are fantastic. That’s her selling point. But quite honestly…give Mother Malice back her triple damage to poisoned enemies (once she is shiny level 2) and remove the damage boost ratio. Green Hag is a fantastic troop, but you have to put in extra work to make her damage boost ratio feel like it’s doing something.
