Apparently the opponent made a 4-match, which caused the Genie’s Lamp trait of Shahbanu to attempt summoning a Djinn.
Someone already pointed this out somewhere, every screenshot of the issue shows there’s a storm active. And the storm has an even number of turns left when stuck on player side, an odd number of turns left when stuck on opponent side. Weird coincidence or somehow related?

I was playing PVP quick battle in Central Spire.
My Team: Elementalist - Wand of Stars, The Empress, Leprechaun, Immortal Empyrion
Don’t remeber the enemy team.
Enemy team had only hero left, then I cast Immortal Empyrion, when the enemy hero was hit, game froze for a while (5s or so), then animation ran very slowly, enemy hero summoned an Ancient Golem with 1000 Armor.
Enemy hero skills raised to 1000 from something about 120, 90.
I killed the Ancient Golem, then after a while I cast the Immortal Empyrion once again, and the situation repated but this time two Ancient Golems were summoned (hero was hit 3 times by the Empyrion) - game froze for a few seconds ,animation begun to run very very slowly and then the game crashed after a while.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?

Steps to make it happen again
Play a PVP battle against enemy with class that has "Golem Protector: talent activated.
Seems the easiest workaround would be to change PvP battles back to the old system we had at launch, of selecting 4 random troops, with no hero. That means no class traits to summon, at least.
Then you just have to swap any troop that can summon an ally with another one, or disable the game from choosing those troops. Bit trickier, but if you can swap Stella for Diamontina, it’s possible, I assume.
That would remove the issue while it gets investigated and hopefully fixed. Then, you can return PvP to the current system, and hopefully no more issues.
