tl;dr: I don’t need the fights to be difficult in the way most people think about “difficulty” in Gems of War, I just want to feel like I need to actually think and possibly tackle them in a way that I am not accustomed to at the moment, and possibly give troops with design choices that currently don’t really fit a chance to shine (eg., Gargantaur). A side mode is the perfect place to do this, as having something different that you don’t personally find enjoyable won’t be a complete game-killer for most people if it isn’t dominating their gameplay (even better if is actually optional), but sweeping game wide changes to attempt to shake the meta forcing a type of playstyle for the main game mode that not everyone will appreciate could be.

As long as the news/spoilers reach the boards a handful of days before the patch is out(like it was this time), I dont mind if some of the spoilers is first out on the social media.

Hi @Ozball @Cyrup @Saltypatra since the update been sent to publisher for approval. You guys think we will be able to get more infos about that before release? Or we need to wait when it go out?

actually the official reason why we didn’t get properly promoted was because a team that didn’t play that week returned from a break and pushed us down a bracket.

so the way to avoid relegation is to just not play that week if you’re a top guild, and return the following week

Then you take the place of a guild who played while you were away.

Had the same issue. Should’ve been promoted but wasn’t. An old guild came back from what I think was a relatively lengthy break in the bracket above. So we didn’t get the spot.
