Quit Bugging Me

I can’t bear it anymore.

New Troop: Bugbear

It’s a dangerous land out there in Zaejin, so the following PSA should help you identify whether there are regular bears nearby, or that monstrosity of an offspring between an Orc and a Goblin… the Bugbear.

KNOW YOUR BEARS!

When Tracking…
Owlbear: Large clawed print, scuffed by clawfeathers
Brown Bear: Large pad with 5 clawed toes
Dire Bear: Like the Brown Bear print but a little more dire
Bugbear: Looks very much like YOUR print… wait a minute… your boots are missing!

When Listening…
Owlbear: A deep throaty screech that makes your skin crawl
Brown Bear: A deep growl that will make the hairs on the back of your neck rise
Dire Bear: Like the Brown Bear call but a little more dire
Bugbear: A sad mix of anger, confusion, surprise, and the unquenched desire to remove an itinerant chicken bone from a place where it should never have been lodged.

When Examining their Poop…
Owlbear: Will contain the bones of small-to-moderate sized woodland animals
Brown Bear: Cylindrical, and smells of fermented seeds and fruit
Dire Bear: Like the Brown Bear poop but smells a little more dire
Bugbear: Looks like someone has played with it, thrown it around, and maybe danced in it a little bit. If in a civilized area, it will almost certainly be stuck to a wall or ceiling.

When Looking for their Lair…
Owlbear: Up a sturdy tree, within 10 feet of the ground, made of strong branches
Brown Bear: A small dark cave at the base of a mountain
Dire Bear: Like the Brown Bear cave but the darkness looks a little more dire
Bugbear: Beneath a ramshackle lean-to, made of leaves and mud and unwanted body parts that looks like it would fall down if a fairy farted on it

Terraxis is going to be pretty good! Not sure if the devour is taking centre stage a little bit too much these days myself. I’m concerned by the sheer amount of troops with really high percentage of devour probability.

Hmm Ketras might be worth trying out now. Still needs a bit more bang for the buck though…

I read the title and thought @Sirrian was getting his leave me alone message across.

Any word on if Mongo is added to the chests yet? Gifted troops are difficult to predict.

Look at what asking for Guild War updates every week finally did to Sirrian.

Shame on all of you.

Wonder if Events will give a boost to Zaejin and Goblins? Or help BtL kill goblins for snotstones?

Maybe all of those?

I had two this week.

Thank you for confirmation!

That rename balance though; well played, well played.

That name definitely needed a buff. :stuck_out_tongue:
