I think @TaliaParks was intending only one copy of a single Epic/Legendary per team, while still allowing for 4 unique Epics/Legendaries in a team. This is how I thought the game would work when I was still a wee lassie.
Will this apply to creatures with Big/Huge/Immense/and 4+ of a kind traits as well?
If I have a Giant Spider and convert gems in a way the causes multiple 4+ of a kinds he gains 2-5 life on the exchange the same is true for Jarl, if he creates multiple 4+ of a kinds I have often burned 2 or even 3 troops at a time. I really donāt mind this feature but I donāt see maws skull spam as a glitch (I donāt use Maw (I do have 3 though) so Iām not trying to save him) as it is merely following the same rules that are laid out that the other troops follow, mass matches cause each unique 4+ of a kind to trigger their respective traits. So I was just wondering if those other traits will be fixed as well?
Thinking of it from an RPG perspective, I thought that would be the way it worked too. I mean there wouldnāt be two Queen Mabās (or two of any of the same legends) in a story.

I suspect any nerf to Mab wonāt affect her being in defence teams anyway, where sheās mostly put there to irritate attackers with her third traitā¦

The other āon 4+ matchesā traits etc (like Jarlās burn effect) shouldnāt be affectedā¦ this is about how the game interprets multi-skull attacksā¦
If loads of skulls are matched at once, in 4s or 5s or lots of separate 3s, the damage calculation varies a bit, but itās still only one attack and we only see one attack animation, hence the thought that Mawās 15% (make that 10% soon please) should only roll onceā¦ the chance is each time you attack.
For other 4+ match traits, the trigger is each time you match 4+ gems, which can be triggered multiple times at once. So those other traits wonāt be fixed, as theyāre not broken. Unless Sparkgrinder is involvedā¦
Ah a true business approach. The ānerfsā of Mab you suggest wonāt do anything to stop us from seeing double mab/valkyrie in EVERY SECOND TEAM out there. I refuse to believe you canāt understand what makes this troop broken. I do however understand the fact that people paid $$$ for mabs, so now your hands are tied and you canāt do anything about the fact that you broke the game (because thatās how it feels right now). I mean lets be serious, even Tacet pointed out how broken this troop is, and all of the people crying how āok mab isā or āno need nerf, works fineā, are all those trigger happy facerollers just running double mab teams not giving a damn.
You say you rather give counters to the problem, rather than fix the problem. Is it going to work the same way you gave us Gob-Chomper to deal with goblins? a troop that virtually NO ONE uses? Thanks, but no thanksā¦
95% or more of active player base? thatās actually insulting, because I am not in the top 5% of people who have lvl700+ and fully mythical/traited deck, and I most certainly do not belong to the 95% you said that should be happy with where the game is heading. So where do people like me fit? few of us as there is Iām afraid. All those ā¦ people (and I really had to hold back to not use words that would be considered outright insulting) ā¦ being a cheering team for the mab are just facerollers that got their hands on something shiny they can use to obliterate whatever gets in their way, and not give a damn about any sort of balance or diversity in the game. Once again, even Tacet said this troop is BROKEN.
So just give all of those who paid 50$ or more to get their broken teams a week or two of fun, and then please fix the game, else Iām afraid you might start to notice a decline in your player-base numbers.
Not just Skulls, 5-matching Mana can net you 20+ Mana as well

I argued that this is the case and even cited a dev about it but clearly i was the only one to recognize that this was the case. Take that you noobs! Guess everyone over x level needs to go back to level one who claimed they knew about the gameplay and how this game works.
First off, Tacet is not always right when it comes to determining a troop as op or underpowered, and as much as i appreciate the wisdom he spreads on this forum, he is not unbiased, no one is.
As for your generalisation of people that donāt want Queen Mab nerfed, some people may just have fun with keeping control over the game and not giving the turn to the AI after each and every spell. That is the reason i enjoy playing her at least, and i assume it is for many other as well.
Yes Queen Mab feels incredibly powerfull when you do your Mab doubletaps, or when she deals huge overall damage when you cast her spell the 4th or 5th time, but letās keep in mind a Crimson Bat never even casts a 4th or 5th time(unless a death summon happens) cause by cast 3 the enemy is already dead.
I said it before and iāll say it again, as powerful as she feels with consecutive casts there are several other team comps that can absolutely keep up with Queen Mab team kill times.
Also letās not forget that Queen Mab currently poses the only really viable non-true damage AoE option, as all other AoE troops are terrible when compared to troops that deal about the same or even more overall damage as true damage.
And just for the record, my Queen Mab is not bought in the Shop, and she is fully traited, but i donāt use her currently, because i tried out multiple new teams this week, so i am not currently āfacerollingā but i would very much like the option of playing her un-nerfed just because i enjoy how she plays, as she is in many ways how i always hoped Behemoth would feel but fails to do.

Thatās an interesting comment since it is your āopinionā the troop is broken. It isnāt a fact. As to other hyperbole in your post, I donāt own Queen Mab and surely would never buy her $50 bundle. If Iām going to toss down 50 bucks, it will be for a new AAA game. But, I digress. My point is that I do not use Mab, and I donāt think she is broken. (Actually, my one PVP loss today was against the tired Soothsayer/Mab/Valkyrie/Mab team. And yet, I still donāt think she needs to get nerfed.)

On the topic of Mab: In my opinion she feels a bit too strong, and I am avoiding fighting teams with her, but she does not feel completely unbalanced. Could use a tweak (and some damage numbers showing up when she is used), though. But just my personal opinion (as someone not running double Mab).
I hate to say it, but nerfing Maws proc chance will in my opinion make his last trait semi useless in offense teams. Because really, even the 25% chance of for example Gorgotha spawning a Ancient Horror are not really anything you can count. You need to be really really lucky for it to happen when you need it. And a 10% proc chance is literally never going to happen when you could use it. Especially with it being only 10% on a full board of skulls too, it meas using him with skull creators is not really going to change that either. To simply sum it up: itās a trait that canāt really be considered as part of your tactic, which for a legendary trait is completely underwhelming.
On the other hand, even if you nerf if to 1%, I guarantee you that there will be one unlucky guy fighting against a Maw and getting his tank devoured. And pretty sure it was said enough times that having that proc happen is essentially equal to deciding who will win the game. Two mobs devoured (one from proc and one from the skill) means there is a Maw with the stats of 3 troops (his own and the 2 devoured ones) + up to 3 other mobs (depending how many are still alive), against max 2 troops on the other sideā¦
Itās just far too big of a thing to happen on a random proc. Itās not satisfying to win due to RNG like that, and itās horribly frustrating to loose because of it. And changing tho proc chance just makes it more extreme in the luck department. You canāt count on it but you have to be afraid of it! So please, please donāt donāt change the proc chance! (At this point I feel the need to add that I do not own a fully traited Mawā¦)
Why canāt it be changed to for example a guaranteed āSteal x of all statsā when attacking? Either with normal 3 skulls or on 4+ skulls? I would definitely trait that! And it is something that can at the same time be dealt with somehow if you fight against it. Strong, but not a right out āI winā-button.
So you beat Mab teams playing against AI that is so stupid, itād be better off doing moves generated entirely randomly. Grats.

As for Mab on offense, Iāve already addressed that in this thread. Several others already addressed it. High level players can build a team without Mab that wipes other teams in the same amount of time.
High lvl players can, yes. At the moment every scrub at lvl50+ can do exactly same with double mab. Case and point, thank you.
