Well, I’d be interested in what you’re basing that belief on. Source? For me, I’m basing my comments on:
- Sirrian’s statements describing the combo breaker (How often are YOU running into the "super lucky" opponents? - #108 by Sirrian), where he said “GEM-CREATION FROM SPELLS”
- Alpheon’s recent post discussing the console Justice issue (Nimhain's Lair: June 12th - #135 by Alpheon), where he said “specifically for gem creation spells like Justice & the Guild Guardians, not cascades”
- many conversations and research with both devs and some forum members, most of which are publicly available on the forum
- reading the actual source code
There are things in place to manage how the cascades work, normally referred to by the devs as the “luck” settings. But that is not the combo breaker, which has no effect on gem creation (cascades) and only on conversion, that’s a different thing.
