Please Make Tuesday Delves Weeklong Events

I’m in the same spot as the OP; I don’t have time on Tuesday to complete a PF500 run. I have 8 factions left to complete and they sit untouched because in IMO my time/resources are better spent in other parts of the game .

I’m personally hoping that once all the factions are released they will run faction weekends periodically.

You got the benefits from having the delves completed sooner, like kingdom stars (with increased stats and better chances for tributes), rewards from pet mastery…

I didn’t get to play newly released delves because I didn’t have the gems until fairly recently so it’s unfair that others were able to… Same energy.

Even if they would change it which I doubt they will do anytime soon, you did it because you wanted to do it, you got benefits from it… Why care if someone else has a few days to do it at some point in the future?

They’d still need months or even years to catch up even half way.

He has a right of opinion and that is his stand.

Not sure if that was meant for me or not but if it was - so do I.

And as soon as you broadcast anything, someone will see it and comment. Doesn’t mean the poster who is referred to doesn’t have the right to have their opinion.

Correct! Nothing personal attack. Just a voice for the Devs to thinker.

Remember one thing, this is JUST A GAME!!! It’s up to each person how much REAL LIFE they want to devote to playing a GAME. If getting something done in a game is that important, then you will rearrange your real life to work with the timings in the game, if you miss out on something, it’s not that big of a deal, it’ll come back around again eventually. Everyone is in such a hurry to complete everything, then they’ll sit around complaining for months that they have nothing to do.

The point is, because it’s a game I don’t really feel like skipping work, ignoring my family, or making other huge changes to my Tuesdays in order to accommodate a game’s ridiculous time constraints on an event.

I have had to miss every Tuesday event since starting to play years ago. It’s not the end of the world, as you say, and I’m not going to mess up my real life in order to do it.

Nevertheless, it would be nice if at some point I could actually participate in the Tuesday delves, and the only way that will ever happen is if they are lengthened enough to be playable by devoting a couple of hours a day to it. I’m certainly not alone in this predicament, as several posters in this thread have indicated.

So, I’ll just keep requesting it I guess for years to come until/unless someday it’s reworked.

Hey @EricBLivingston Are you planning to do the 3-day faction this weekend?

Yes, certainly. And it reinforces my situation. I was able to put some time in today (Friday) but just as with Tuesday I was unable to finish due to time constraints (work, etc)

However, with the two additional days I’ll have the time I need to get through the whole thing.

Being able to do that just makes me wish I had three days to do the Tuesday ones even more!

Cool, enjoy!

Faction event being 1 day is the least of the problems with the game in my opinion. With the changes they made to Arena it has become so slow and the arena event isn’t worth even doing because of how slow it is now, and the rewards aren’t worth giving up life to grind for. PvP isn’t worth doing any more either with everyone using Queen Beetrix, Gobtruffle, and other looping teams that just WASTE other people’s time, the defense rewards aren’t worth enough for me to take up other people’s time, I get to tier 1 on Monday and don’t do PvP at all til next Monday. I used to enjoy PvP when people used their imagination and came up with LOTS of DIFFERENT teams for defense, now it’s just tedious to play PvP, so I ignore that part of the game, other than getting to tier 1 each week.I change my PvP defense team to 4 of what ever troop the weekly campaign wants you to kill, helps others get easy and FAST wins in PvP and completing the campaign. It’s NOT just the devs making parts of the game unintersting or unplayable, players themselves are doing it as well. Most games out there have time constraints on in game events, it’s psychological marketing, get those that have to be on top to spend more money, but at the end of the day what do you really get from it, nothing tangible in the real world, just bragging rights as the best pixel pusher in GoW. The only money I spend on the game is for the elite campaign pass, and they can’t even change currency properly, it costs $25, but 26 Euros, which converted is about $30, since they’re in Australia, if using Australian dollar it’s even worse 26 Euros is about $40, why do some pay more for it than others, that’s a MAJOR problem to me. I don’t play the game to get everything done instantly or for bragging rights, it’s JUST a game I play to kill SOME time, NOT all day, relax and forget about the stresses of the real world, if the game causes more stress than real life maybe it’s time for me to take a break and remember why I started playing in the 1st place.
