I think I won the majority if not all of them, I was just playing casual 1 trophy Pvp trying to find a gnome. Played some arena also.
What team where you using?
And how many fights per hour were you doing approximately?
I have no idea how many per hour, but I used Rock Troll/Dark Troll/Infernus/Elemaugrim.
first day found 2 pet gnome,now play more 100-120 pvp and nothing.
If you only have 5 mins just buy the dang thing…That’s what I would do if I were missing one. I really wish people would stop asking for a nerf,

If you are dropping everything in real life because you might miss 1 pet then there might be another issue here. You do not have to get every pet right now. I would try a discord so that if you are not in game someone can post that a rescue is happening.

2 already today and 7 so far. 1 triggered today after 5 minutes of the hourly reset. It’s all RNG luck as usual. I’ve missed a few due to different timezones of the guild I’m in.

i am in a top rank 89 guild but even i must say i would like to start this game these days .it must be a nightmare for beginners
and even the pet bonus gives now top guild more than beginners specially in guild wars if they manage to level there pets to mythic

I think that’s a great idea, if you’re a PC/Mobile player. Though, it wouldn’t be much help to Console players.
I mean, yes, if I’m in my kitchen, I could see the notification on my phone and go: “Oh, better hop on my Xbox.” But, if I’m anywhere longer than a quick few minute walk or drive, I’m completely out of luck, because I can’t just whip out my phone and give it a try. And, if I’m a good drive away from my console (let’s say 45 mins), there’s no way I would make it back in time and be able to finish the event.
The Discord thing is a good idea, in general, though. Or some other group notifying thing, like Facebook Messenger group or whatever. I know people who do that for Pokemon Go for Raids and such.
We use an Xbox group message, and we post when we start a pet raid. Members that don’t care can just drop from the conversation.
I’ve got an Xbox app on phone and pc, so xbox messages show there too

TOO SHORT.
For me, its not way to short, but it is too short. I’ve had two of the one hour pet rescues appear. The first was bad luck, I didn’t see it till there was 46 minutes remaining. I got to the last one, and it ended. 5 minutes ago, I got another pet rescue. I beat the last one, which was ridiculously hard, and at the conclusion, it said ERROR: Event has ended. I didn’t get the level 10 rewards, which had the Mimic pet. Please make it 2 hours, or 1.5 hours, or… my ideal choice would be, keep the 1 hour, but add 5 minutes for each level that you beat. And could you please change the code to prevent you from entering a new battle when the timer is up, not excluding your current battle from ending correctly.
I dont know if the current pet rescue that appears and gives you one hour, will always be Goblins or not. The two I have seen have both been. Another reason why one hour is too short. I played it straight through, no stopping, no breaks, 59 minutes. But the higher up you go, the Goblins get extra turns, cascading extra turns, and make new goblins appear. One battle I had to kill 7 Goblins, so more time would definitely be better.

I think an hour is fine, but I do wish that I received some sort of out-of-game notification that alerted me. I know there are going to be some that I miss, but having that notification would help me complete as many as possible.
I know that my guild and I have been writing in our out-of-game chat whenever one starts. I have my notifications on for that, so that has been helping. I still wish that I would get one from GOW itself though.
You guys know when you finished the 8 battles you can search for a gnome and wait to kill it when timer is done right?
The person ready with a gnome pet only need to ask guildmate how many time left on the event or set a timer before finishing the fight
First I have discord, but that requires going to a different application or software. The game should notify when it happens and you should be able to notify the rest of the guild via the in-game chat even if there’s no notification. I was not able to do that with either of my accounts. My second account attempt might have been able to complete the rescue if things had been operating properly. (Time expired during the 7th battle.) Either way discord should not be needed for this.
Second the game shouldn’t be attempting to command my time like that period. With the existing short timeline chances are I’m going to miss the few opportunities our guild triggers anyway simply because of not being on when it occurs. We’re not a trophy factory, but we’re not inactive either.
I preferred the day long event yesterday so I could choose when to deal with it.
Yesterday you could only have 1 pet for the whole day duration.
Today my guild got 3 pet event triggered that I was able to catch by logging sporadically during the day…
This system is way better in my opinion.
Nothing forces you to collect every single possible pet your guild triggers… To even things out you just have to be there when 1 pet event is triggered. It is really not that hard.

I stopped reading half the replies here cause they are all the same argument. Instead ill just give my point of view.
Im in an active guild, we have 30 members. I am the ONLY 1 that is from Australia. Therefore, no one else is in my timezone. I will play on and off all day as I get a chance. At times, it will simply be log in, claim tribute and close game.
With Discord, I can be notified of any pets that have been posted about, therefore allowing me, if i have the time, to log in, do my fights, usually 10min max if im not distracted, get my pets, and log out.
The entire argument of play more, get more rewards, DOES work for this event. As you need to be on the game playing, or have ways to communicate to be able to get on and play more, to be able to get more pets.
Yes, I have missed pets while sleeping, I believe Ive missed some during the day as well when I was unable to get on. Yet I still have 12 pets, 2 of which are epic.
Yesterday with the 1 pet for 24 hours was boring. Was no reason for me to PvP really. Ive met reqs for my guild. I had resources built up. I went to explore again, and with only 2 troops left for me to trait now, and almost every troop in the game acquired, its getting to the point where there is nothing left to do. Pets gives me something to do, also allows me to help others by triggering the event, and get extra resources for the guild, that we may not need, but are still helpful
Pets going to a longer timeframe would ruin the entire system imo. It is not meant to be completed 100% in a week, or even a month. It is meant to give us something to do for ages to come, hence the 1 new pet a month, that can be built upon.
Also, the more you complain here about pets, the less time you have to get them in game
