Overall, after this update 9.2, how are you all feeling now?

Get all your factions maxed. It takes quite a bit of gold to get your hoard up n helps make it easier too

But yea gold farming been a fools errand n even more so now

For long time players this new system is crap. Progress of kingdoms is blocked by lack of new troops, pets and this shiny crap that is worthless for long time players. You can’t even farm crystals - earlier you could at least buy deeds for gold marks, and now gold marks lost almost whole its worth. Also buying shiny keys is another absurd due to its randomization of troop you get - can’t target specific kingdom. All this changes makes this system much more less interesting, more like if something is green then click it instead of thinking and planing for another kingdom for upgrade.

I’m a little confused about something. For example, I have one kingdom where the only elite medal troop I have is gold level. Just that one troop has medals. The current task list has a task “get 10 troops to silver level”, which I assume has skipped over the earlier task of “get 5 troops to bronze level” which I did not complete. Do I just lose out on that xp, or was that accounted for in the conversion?

Oh my! Pardone me

I am pretty sure you did not lose out on anything, as the 30 levels that was before was kinda stretched to the new 50 level (+ unlimited) format. So you kinda was put inside this new system to fit around, possibly even higher than the old system.

Prestige level 40 is the equivalent of maximum kingdom in the old system, in terms of skills

The mail, daily reset popup, pet rescues, and the X button (on xbox) menu swap to the relevant Pvp Games and Guild menus all take WAY longer to trigger than pre patch. Very annoying.

I have managed to get 20 Kingdom XP in Underspire just now. Is that the highest you can get? What did other find of crystals and XP?

I find it extremely depressing to pull just a 1/20 worth of a shiny key, @Jeto. I think many of the rewards in Underspire needs a huge buff. People spends 1000s of gems on this mode every week.

I feel cheated. Before the update 9.2, I had “Used books of deeds to upgrade kingdoms 746 / 1140.” I kept changing “Jewels” and “Writs” to “Deeds” and “Deeds” to “Books.” I used up all the resources. After the update, I received 19 Rainbows. I have a population of 2.8 million. I now have less than others who had lower accounts. I have no way to level up my kingdom.

But you already got a population of 2.8 million.. which is unreal high, it basically means many of your kingdoms is high in level in the new system. So the good progression you had at the old system got added nicely into the new one.

OR is it something my stupid brain does not get at all?

I am only at 1,8 mil population and I consider myself an endgame player.

If you did not go hardcore on your Kingdoms back then, you would struggle now with all the Shining troops that you need to max. You just passed all those requirements. I know it is an unlimited loop, but you came a far way.

And your right about the shinys, thats a massive positive for us players that upgraded and didnt hoard.

Ive got 3.2 mill and able to upgrade my magic kingdoms when I get some rainbow crystal. Still wounded I spend rainbow before realizing I could have used the greens to get that magic stat

I’m surprised by this comment, as Underspire is easily the most rewarding weekly gamemode, and has only been improving in both features and rewards since it released. Orbs of glory, EVKs, kingdom XP, shiny dust, dragonite, cursed runes, other orbs…

True, but would it hurt anyone if we actually got a shiny key and not 1/20 of a key? I don’t feel I am ungrateful in the slightest.

Is this really all that different from the now-defunct Adventure Board string where you fought three battles and earned a total of 10 writs?

Not that this is a desirable outcome, mind you. But 5 shiny dust and 10 writs are probably equally as useless.

Since I’m in a guild that can’t complete the guild events, I’m always short on Shiny Keys.
The third guild task is constantly stuck because of the Shiny requirement. Even if I had 40 Elite Level Golds, I still wouldn’t be able to progress the third task at all.
I really wish tasks weren’t strictly taken in order, and that any task we’ve already met the requirements for could be collected without getting blocked

Prior to this update, a very active player could ‘catch-up’ by playing lots of explore to gain additional Deeds and Writs from Angel and Merchant offers.

Now, the entire playerbase will increase at largely the same rate with very minimal play per week.

Following the 9.2 release, the only way to ‘catch-up’ or ‘move ahead’ is to spend real money. I’m pretty sure the Devs knew exactly what they were doing and were betting this will increase their revenues.

I can only hope a massive drop in ‘average hours played per week’ or ‘number of players quitting’ leads them to quickly re-introduce shiny dust, shiny keys and crystals to angel and merchant offers.

@Namour Exactly. I think the developers deliberately removed kingdom progress from gold marks and explore to encourage people to spend money to upgrade kingdoms faster. Apparently, they are working on Explore for the next update (harder difficulty and upgraded medals?), but I doubt that they add Crystals to a game mode that players can take advantage of.

Nice try, but this fish isn’t going to take that bait.:fishing_pole:

What was not fair is when the GAP thing first started and folks got a few hundred while other were at work. Next day it was Nerfed. Some things in life will not be fair but most folks move on. Most folks like the update fair or not.

I have 2.6 million pop which is fine. I see no issue with the update and from most guild mates things are mostly positive. Some folks will find issues to nitpick but you cannot please everyone
