So now we get to play “donation chicken” with the remaining guildies, which feels wrong.

I have the same feelings.

2.1 Preview - Guilds

We’re going to watch the current system for a few weeks, and see how it plays out. If the top guilds are hitting the goals early and looking like they want to contribute more, we’ll do something like “Extra Mythic Tasks” that only the top few can get for some special rewards. We didn’t want to jump the gun and implement that TOO early without having data on how the new system was being used.

Hopefully that comes to fruition.
