Here’s @Kafka ’s thoughts on troop Rarity 100% taken out of context:
The Devil is a Legendary Troop so we obviously can’t give a copy guaranteed for every battle, so if you didn’t like how this event ran but you like the concept of the event, then what sort of compromise would you make? ie. have a higher battlecrasher appearance rate but use a common Troop instead for the reward? Actually set a cap on number of battlecrashers you can see in one day? If so, how is that better than having the chance to find more if you play more but at a lesser chance? (ie, this current way is potentially rewarding people for playing more than other more casual players, while still allowing our casual players to participate and earn the reward too, but also stops the most hardcore players from getting 500 copies of a special legendary Troop that will normally only be available from the Vault).
With the issue being she’s RIGHT. That’s how Rarity should work in the game. It should be consistent in all aspects of the game. And that’s why your Vault drop chances being an outlier are misleading at best and criminal at the worst.
Since you don’t disclose your drop rates in the vault publicly we’re only left to theorize and I believe it’s currently something to this effect:
From least Rare to most Rare:
Common Rarity Troops
Not completely off based, but off enough that it needs to be revised.
Would the game break if you changed Cedric’s official Rarity to Rare to align it’s self with the actual drop rates? Maybe… But considering how many players are used to playing a broken game I’m sure many of us won’t even notice.

I do actually have about 500 cedric, go figure.
I have more Cedrics than plenty of OG legendaries from six or seven years ago . Which I started collecting then when they were the only ones in the pool!

The droprate of Cedric is so high because they wanted to artificially inflate the “gem value” of a vault key.
