You can take gems, souls and every other resource that wasn’t meant to be there from my account. But what about the progress I made within the last hours that have nothing to do with your rewards? The lanterns I bought with my hard earned money to complete Under spire?! The Orb of Power and other stuff I gained from opening dozens of vault keys? The 100s of trophies? My time? As a VIP 14 and co-leader of a top#3 guild on Xbox I must express some concern about that. Yeah, mistakes can happen. And they happen a lot on this game. Unfortunately always on the back of the players. So what should we expect? Especially since half of hour guild wasn’t even informed about why the game isn’t working?! They just came home after a hard week at work and wanted to spend their free time on a game they used to love and don’t even understand why they get blocked out or punished …
Oh, almost forgot. I bought all the weekly star stones packs, some within the last 24h. Will they be taken away as well because of the rollback?

They did address paid purchases with this line:
Any purchases made today that are affected by the rollback will be manually compensated through Customer Service.
Now, I don’t know what that means, but I hope what that means is that they will scour the purchasing logs and see that we made purchases. After they see them, they will manually apply them to our accounts without our intervention.
Thankfully the only thing I happened to buy today is lanterns. I knew I should have gotten them earlier in the week…
But yea, I think all of the time spent is lost and even if this takes less than 3 more hours, I don’t think there’s enough time to even do dailies. Looking forward to the compensation for this…

I do it through paypal, so it’s being considered. Just like other things are being considered. We’ll have to see what happens.

I’m curious, if the rollback also will revert the purple book I got today after using 100 Gold Marks in PvP. Since I used it to upgrade another magic kingdom. Or if that is one of the things that will be handled by someone specifically. How much time will it take to go through every account of every player on every platform just to search for stuff like that?!

It’s a server rollback. It assumes reverting a server stance into a stance it was at a specific time) maybe just before a mail have comes. So everything after that sems to be wiped out as it won’t happend)

Yeah, so opening all the VKs today, receiving multiple 900 or 360 gems out of them, also an Orb of Power, a Major Orb of Glory and many Purple Orbs will be just wasted. Also the daily star stones will be gone and maybe there will be issues with the last major star stone pack I bought since I paid for it with real money today, but there won’t be a linked purchase to it anymore.
Time and trophies are the least of my worries. But I got some really good rewards that are unrelated to the mail rewards bug and they can’t be redone at all. Getting a purple book from my PvP gold marks was a blessing, so I could bring another magic kingdom to 20/29. If I get a yellow book instead, it’s wasted. They’re completely done. And instead of 360/900 gems several times I probably get Cedric and some minor trait stones instead if I have to open my VKs again. Not even talking about the 2nd set of star stones I missed this week due to mistakes or unhappily timed updates. Or bounty and ToD, which I also finished today …
