Agreed. Lack of information is an information. But not the correct one to make the right changes necessary for this mess they created on their own. It’s very likely they will make the ordinary change of lowering just a little bit the rewards tresholds and lowering again the leveling scaling for bosses, but nothing that will fix properly journeys.
If they had any intention of doing that at all they could have done it directly during the last Journey event. Reward thresholds are a server side setting, they can be changed within a few minutes, without disrupting anything. “Collecting more data” means “couldn’t care less”, it has been used for way too many issues the past years, without anything ever happening afterwards.

The shady fact that officials waited with a comment on this hot topic until the rescue (weekend) comes along is proof enough that nothing will happen on that matter. “need more data” hahahaha.
I can only advise anyone to not spent gems beyond tier3 for getting the weapon/troop once. Then orb upgrade it and just let the measly rewards you may not get just go to waste. You’ll help the guild more than enough and still get the main rewards.

Wow. To say I am extremely disappointed would be a huge understatement. How much more freaking “data” do you guys need?
Guess it’s tier 3 for the weapon and that’s it for me.

You can shove even spending to get the weapon, they’re clearly sitting in an office chuckling at how we still carry on regardless whatever decisions they make.
Please tell your guildmates and anyone else to ignore the event completely or we’ll stil be complaining in vane this time next year.

Our guild; which has always completed all tiers of events; have just decided to not participate in the upcoming journey. I realise one guild wont make the slightest difference but honestly we dont feel like theres anything else we can do to show what we feel about the “collecting data” response.

Funny thing is that I’ve actually spent less on the game since some of the recent changes. The rewards aren’t worth it. Journey was one of the exceptions because of books. Well now you can get a book every other week in PVP just by playing to get the free rewards each week. Why on earth would I spend time and/or money on the Journey event now? Spend time on Vault weekends and a minimum level of PVP and you’re good to go. The weekly guild events don’t mean much anymore. Likewise completing all guild tasks each week. Huge sinks of time with little to offer. If they continue to nerf vault rewards, I am likely out.

Absolutely unacceptable. You already know the problem. We laid it out with a great deal of clarity.
This is how you lose more players.
Just suspend Journey until you know how to fix it or curtail the point requirements for the rewards.
Running it AGAIN in this severely broken format is tone deaf at best.

Then we are at least 2 Guilds skipping this Journey event.
We(my Guild) didnt exactly like the Journey event prior to the Journey troop nerf, but now it is just ridiculous.
We are saving our gems for better events.

Since it was claimed it was tested for all of that, they obviously need more data to our complaints - how dare we even!?
Bold prediction:
The process of collecting more data will take not only the previous Journey event, the current ongoing Journey event but at least two to X more future Journey events. Only then, maybe, if all interstellar anomalies align correctly once in 2 billion years they maybe then take a look at the successfully collected data - if it is not another public holiday or during “the weekend”… Nonetheless the conclusion will be “everything is fine”. Maybe we get a video statement with hypeman (fake-) excitement voice?
Just for once, dear devs and newsposters, please tell it directly as it is.
- You’ll just ignore player feedback, if it was even read, understood, “passed on” … etc
- You’re not planning on doing anything regarding the matter of the topic
- If we continue to press on with this topic you’ll find ways to implement further non-beneficial changes towards ‘the players’
We can handle this ‘truth’, no need to “play for time”.
We won’t be happy about it, but that is also the situation now with the “improved communication” we get right now.
But we’ll be able to move on if we finally get ‘the truth’ as official statement.
