Is there cheating going on in PVP?

Before calling people out, you need to realize you weren’t in the guild, nor saw what they donated. You also need to account that all players aren’t doing the bare minimum. The first week that Silent won (the week Tacet was going for first) Silent donated a grand total of~~~ 300k, the bare minimum. On the other hand I donated 3m that week, gueber donated 2m, and multiple other players all donated 1m+. So it’s perfectly possible for them to be 5-7% of donations because they didn’t do much more then the bare minimum. The next week I can’t be entirely sure because I worked a lot, but I know got ~4k keys that week. This week they got banned mid week, but I only saw 400k from Silent, which was the highest of them. We’ve already hit over 3.5k keys this week and that’s with a lot of us being less active due to RL activities. To be perfectly honest, in terms of donations, things are the same, if not more then before (because the new people are donating more).

So with the trophies taken away from all their wins, what we got from them is essentially nothing because they were doing near the bare minimum.

EDIT: Being honest, and watching how quickly some people win matches for 4 hours in a row, I’m pretty sure there are some other people in the game still cheating, they just aren’t as blatant about it.

That is hard to believe, but it’s something DEV’s can check. So sure, I am sorry if three people getting TONS of gold contributed “bare minimum 300k” and my previous reply was wrong (personally I don’t believe a word about the “bare minimum”, but that’s just my subjective opinion). That being said, it seems to me like it’s an encouragement to cheating. Doesn’t seem to be a bad idea to get yourself 2-3 cheating alt accounts in the guild for a week or two, make a ton of gems/keys you won’t lose after they get banned. Why shouldn’t other people try that? seeing how there is no consequences whatsoever.

no actual consequences = encouraging it, and as we see saying “we didn’t know, no group blame please, LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE” works.

so yeah, for those in question “nothing changed”, for everyone else - enjoy the free ride on the back of a dangerous precedent, there’s the way right there.

He wasn’t spending most of his gold on the guild believe what you want though, I donate 100% of my gold to the guild and I donated more then him, but he should have made way more gold then me so I assume most of it went to buying chests. Had he not been there the slots would have been filled by other people that would have donated almost as much gold, and he wasn’t in the guild long enough to make a substantial difference so no point in nitpicking about it.

I counted 17 people that donated more then 1 million this week, that’s way more then our minimum.

This thread has been remarkably well-mannered considering it discussed such a hot topic.
Thank you all for that.
I’m going to close it now so that it can occupy a happy place in my memories as to “how the internet should have been”.

In truth though, all that needs to be said here has been said, I think.

Folks got banned. We removed all their contributions that were significant & easy to remove. The remainder were so small in comparison to the rest of their guild that it was negligible… well under-par for their average guild members.

In the past when hackers HAVE artificially inflated a guild’s contributions in a large way, we’ve reverted back pretty much all of the guild stats. It’s time consuming though, and with such small gold contributions, all we really needed to do here was remove the trophies to even this out.
