But you can get as many as you want by surfing the PvP regions so are a waste of the limited resources of burning chests.
I’m with the original poster and feel that silver marks should be removed. Truthfully, I think the entire burning chest system should be reworked. Epic chests are obscenely expensive and for that cost all I want are immortal tokens.
I also think it’s a huge ripoff that maxed immortals are not removed from the pool. Their tokens are converted back to burning chests and you receive less chests than you spent to open the chest with a now useless item in it for you.
I further this sentiment. They need to go.
And the silence is DEAFENING
Im gonna keep bumping this until we get an answer or it gets closed. At least we’ll have it confirmed that they are deliberately ignoring us if they do and we’ll get a response if they dont. Or just more radio silence ![]()
And easily earned through PvP gameplay. Burning Marks, by comparison, are not.
It’s very telling that they are silent. Means that its a feature. They want wasted burning marks
I actually love the concept of ‘Immortal’ troops, in the sense of a new and different dimension added to this game but I have to say that there comes a point that this Immortal side of the game needs major reworking.
1. The souls required to level them up are very difficult to acquire and the burning marks needed are very hard to come by, even if I bought passes and/or played until my controller’s buttons turned into melted plastic goo.
2. The increasing ‘RNG’ factor as each season ends and a new season adds a new Immortal to the point that there could be as many as 50 Immortal troops which means one has a 2-percent chance of getting the necessary souls needed to level up the troop one desires to level up. There needs to be some way to give someone the option of targeting a particular Immortal to level up.
3. There should be special Orbs (Separate from those used in non-Immortal troops, cannot be used outside of Immortal troops) such as Orb of Immortality (Maybe colored Dark Brown or even Black) and this Orb can be used to level up Immortals ONLY. These can be acquired by meeting a certain PVP goal (can be lots and lots of wins or damage inflicted on PVP players across multiple battles), or some PVP equivalent of Campaigns.
4. Remove Silver Marks from Burning Marks. Really makes me angry when I dump 25 or more hard-earned Burning Marks only to get a basket of near-useless Silver Marks! Enough already! Give me Gold Marks, or Immortal Souls! I can earn the Silver Marks by beating PVP opponents on ‘active’ kingdoms (with orange-lantern logo to mark where marks can be earned).
I don’t mind getting silver marks. Just got 3x 60 of them. But the immortal orbs I really like and want to see in the game rather sooner than later. ![]()
Another case of F2P players complaining they don’t get the same stuff as players who actually support the game?
How does that work when everyone has the same burning chests?
PS. supporting the game actively makes the epic burning chests worse too if you wanna start opening more cans of worms.
I really liked the concept too but its been spoiled by greed. There’s absolutely no way they should have had their own individual souls. Its an absolute cash grab rip off
I used to buy the pass but realized it was an absolute rip off. What’s the point in grinding for hours, spending real money just to get the immoral troop you want to level up by just 1? Its not about moaning its about actually spending the cash and being ripped off
Hello is there any chance of a response to the question on this thread please? Thank you
I apologise in advance for the slightly aggressive tone. In this case, it’s just a quicker way of making my point. No offence.
I’ve put over $300 into this game. Does that mean I’m supporting it or not?
What about the GoW website I run and the level of my participation in the community? Does that count as support, if it makes this a friendlier community and an easier game to play for new players?
My point is that the OG is talking about VALUE. Having Silver Marks in Burning Chests is bad value for everyone (as many people have pointed out).
I’m also not going to spend money on things that are bad value. So I’ve mostly bought the Campaign Passes, but never a PvP Pass. Why not? Because a PvP Pass would not bring me substantially closer to maxing out my Immortals, at a reasonable price. And the amount of spending actually needed to max out Immortals is for the millionaire sons of mafia bosses.
That’s pretty much how human psychology — and Economics — works.
Hello any chance of an answer to this question please? I see jeto has been commenting on other threads so a reply on here would be great. Many thanks
Please, please, please stop with the silver marks in burning chests, Burning marks are not lottery tickets, they are very limited and there is nothing that makes me hate this game as much as getting 3 or 4 silver mark bundles out of 10 chests. And I buy the pvp pass, well, I used to. I think this will be my last one if this does not change.
I have been playing almost since the start. Spending money, but not like I used to. The whole dragonite system really made me rethink my support of the game. I still dont have the chrysantherax or diamantia (got Stellarix only after the gem dragons were put in the soulforge). Getting silver marks out of a burning chest feels just like getting my 7th or 8th dragon dupe. Not sure why players, especially those that spend money, need to be treated this way.
Think they’ve had about 2 grand out of me. I will never buy a pass from these again. Id have more respect if they replied working as intended. We might not like the answer but at least we’ve got it. Ignoring paying customers requests and questions is not a good look
Im vip level 17 so it might be more than that ive not really tracked my spending over the years so much but either way I would never consider a pvp pass. Rewards and the time required plus the way you level up immoral troops just aren’t worth it
Jeto is actively ignoring this thread. Tells me all I need to know. The silver marks middle finger is a feature
I will keep asking the question nonetheless. I think as paying customers, people who’ve spent hours and lots of money we deserve a reply at least. It may not be the one we want but I think we should be told
