Inexplainable extra turn

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
For the last week or somewhat more, I see the same situation, now and again: on my first turn I am matching “normal” 3 gems - and get extra turn anyway! I believe, each such time it was after explosion potion that gives me 4x-5x, but it happens before my turn, so must not stack with it, right? I haven’t any abilities that could explain that. Also, it works with different troop composition. I’ll upload my picture, just in case, but I doubt it have anything with it.

Steps to make it happen again

  1. Wait until all potions fired.
  2. Make a first turn.
  3. Immediately get another sometimes.

If the cascade due to potion or Omen trait explosions includes a 4+ match, you get a bonus turn. This is fixed in 4.4, from what I remember hearing, so enjoy it while it lasts.

That sucks. That extra turns sometimes makes really long battles a little bit quicker.
