It’s wild how time has flown. I’m surprised that my account is still here with all the changes that have happened.
No one who was with the company when I was last on here is even here anymore, and so much has changed in the game.
The new troops and all these changes are ofc expected considering the time, just a lot to take in tbh.
If any of you wanna give tips you can, but yeah I’ve always loved the game just took a break to focus on Minecraft mostly, but have returned to check how it’s doing and wow

Welcome back to the game RedRoseWarrior!
I believe there has been 4 new kingdoms and matching underworld factions in the time you were gone and pretty much everything has been updated from the weekly guild events, to PvP and GWs. Additions include Gnome a Paloozas, Underspire, Dungeon and new sets of mythics from Immortals to dragon egg sets which require a new resource called Dragonite to hatch.
There’s tons to learn and have fun with. Resources have gotten a lot easier to collect and so has the ability to complete underworld factions and pure faction runs (with the addition of potions).
I would suggest you join one of the guilds with a discord server to catch up on things and get your feet wet to see if you enjoy playing GoW.
Most guild events require Tier 4 or Tier 5 buy in to complete - something to keep in mind if you decide to join a guild that completes guild events.
There are mostly completely new teams that are much better than when you last played, with the exception of old classics like Tesla and Beetrix, etc. - those still have their places in our favourite team slots!

Thank you for the info, yes the underworld did exist back then. I also occasionally saw my dad playing the game (It’s what got me to come back even because of the cool stuff here)

In case you’re not able to join discord and looking for a non discord guild which can still help a returning player out, I would recommend this one.
You can find them via a guild search by name.
@Maisie is the Guild Leader there and is a good friend of mine. He’s got great game knowledge and guides his guild all via in the in game chat. I’ve tagged him here in case you want to connect with him.
p.s. Maybe you can join the same guild your dad is in?
