There was never going to be an answer that was going to please everyone. If the progression were tied to solely books and deeds, you’d have complaints about the previous task progression not mattering at all.
I say this as one of those that was (relatively) on the short end of the conversion stick. We’re perpetually the next update away from the next fire and the fire after that and the one after that.
I don’t believe there was any malicious intent nor do I believe this decision was made in a vacuum. The monetization of the crystals logically would have passed through a bunch of hands in the corporate chain and this was then decided to be the outcome that would give the shop the best chance to succeed.
So in this update, others got the better end of the deal. I had a comparatively easy time with the last set of dragons. The game giveth, the game taketh away. It’s frankly not serious enough imo that not only do I need to feel better, others need to feel worse. This isn’t a zero sum game.

Ok simple question.
I always updated im high level.
Others got more resources after the update than me.
But a big but, i hit the same, i get ghe same tribute. My kingdoms are jyst as high.
So il assume your high level. Were is the short end of the stick. Is it becsuse others got more.

Also i was approx team level 22120 before update and im 22543 now. So i actually gained. And so did everyone. Everyone gained.
Yes some more than others, but not enough of a gain to mske them pass you or anyone else.

It must be a ton of trolls then, as me included and so many more enjoys the update. Not a single guild member in my guild have talked sour about the update, and I bet it is the same in your guild, big boy!

We’re saying (mostly) the same thing. It hasn’t changed my feelings on the game despite technically I could have done less to get more. The in-game impact to me is nil. I can still do all the things I could before the update. I haven’t felt particularly bothered because I don’t believe I need others to lose to feel like I’ve won.
I say I got the short end of the conversion stick because I did. Just because it happened doesn’t mean I feel particularly bad about it-- it just is what it is. At the same time, it would feel disingenuous to even speak up if I was a beneficiary from the conversion. So I could have been upset with this but it was just never worth it. Again, my overall play didn’t change.

See i understand some got extra resources, because they hoarded, but they didnt hoard because they new an update was coming. It was pure dumb luck, call it rng.
And no one hoarded sooooo much, that they leapfrogged a much higher player, into better stats. That just did not happen.
So it really is all about, people just wanting more.
Its just weird.

Right, also it was not a noob sitting on 2000 books. It was players that has been in this game for a long time, just not too much into the kingdom stuff, but played their ass off every week in the other modes.

It truly is, and also after the Underspire that was introduced that gave us so much more magic, and the resources is free in the daily adventure board, can just sit on your ass and wait. Have to play it daily for progression, tho.
Some people even mocked the Underspire. There is a “free” option for everyone to just ignore Underspire if they want to. I dont like what this world has become. Full of envy.
