This is never an issue with controllers.
Touch screens may be faster, but controllers are more accurate than mouse/touch input. Besides, you can go whole matches without making matches, with some teams, and controllers are faster for inputting fixed commands than moving to set areas and clicking on them.
Eh… it depends how you play, basically. I think controllers are better, so I use them… or I use them, so I think they’re better. Hard to tell.
