What if we got a little more creative? Like having a different “two-tone” restriction? “X, but not Y”? Say…. “Dragon…. but not Red”, meaning you could choose any Dragon troop or any weapon, but nothing that has any Red in it. So no Diamantina/Stellarix/Chysantherax, no Wand of Stars, et cetera.

And maybe to make it “more fair”, then apply that restriction to defenses as well. Replace any “dragon” defensive zone with something else, and don’t allow defenders to use any troops/weapons with Red in it. Make it creative for both sides.

I like this idea. I’d take it a step further and randomise a little more.
So let’s have three variables. 1) restriction a. 2) and/or/not. 3) restriction 2.
So the game picks the first restriction, say dragons, and the second restriction, say red troops, then it selects randomly either “and” (you can only select troops that fit both restrictions), “or” (you can select any troop that fits either restriction) or “not” (you can select troops which fit restriction 1 as long as they don’t fit restriction 2). Then I’d have it check to ensure there are enough valid possibilities (and maybe require a certain number of mythic, legendaries, etc), before accepting it. If not, it restarts and generates a new set, until you have a valid option.

yesterday, before going to bed, 27 of our players went 5 and 0 and 1 player went 4 and 1. No one lost to the 3 take team listed above, very easy wins. Same with Silverglade a few months ago, we averaged over 40k points and our opponents averaged around 10k. We expect the same results today. My advice is to have testers come up with offensive teams. The team listed above vs. the tak defenses aren’t going to win. We have 2 different teams that when tested, beat the tak defenses at practice 10 times in a row. Next time come better prepared

Congrats to you and your guild mates. I hope you all continue to be successful in life.

Feel free to share your Teams:)

You are not playing mobile/PC, right?

It’s easy. 5/0 at the gate. No one has to lose to taks right?

Devs are clueless or don’t care. Wild plains needs a good board or a lot of setup to win vs good teams. Lord of slaughter has to be able to loop and chip away. The fact that you allow defenses to set a lightning fast meta team that can nuke you with one cast is an utter joke. To beat that team with wild plains you basically have to hope for a loop because if the inexplicably unbanned (lol at stellarix banned in gw but not flower dragon. Shows devs are lazy) Chrysantherax gets ONE CAST you lose.

You cannot impose horrible kingdoms on us and then expect us to fight pvp meta teams. I did beat a triple takshaka team before this but it was pure luck. Pure luck should not be a factor

“Git gud scrub” has no place in this forum. Because you bragging about beating those teams without posting a team and telling people to “be better prepared” is what that is.

I would block you but Lol this forum has no block feature?

Here is my team

Yup. Ive used variations of all the known teams for this week. Ive an endgame account. I still say triple takshaka or Chrysantherax teams should not be allowed in guild wars when we have restrictions like this.

I agree completely. But it is possible to win with this team against Chrys and Taks.

No one said impossible. I said you need a lot of luck. You have to hope you get takshaka frozen and you have to hope Chrysantherax doesnt get a single cast.

Then add to it after a certain amount of turns your whole team is entangled. Every advantage except first turn has been given to the ai

people who have no idea what luck is think preparation could do something when takshaka can tripple cast your team away in a single turn.

Yes there is. You can ignore a user.

You can always count on somebody the enter with “get good”. Let’s just ignore that if the Wildcards from multiple of Takshaka place right your game can be effectively over from as early as your opponent’s first turn.

Bonus points if they’re running Elementalist to ruin your game further.

ONe of our guys lost to palace and so we went 148 wins and 2 loses. We got a perfect 10 bonus on all buildings

also forgot to mention, yes I play on Xbox, not PC/mobile, but the paragon of one of the top guilds from years ago asked for some of my teams. I gave him 2 teams involving books and empower troops. He told me on those 2 color days, their competitors got wiped hard. Within a month, everyone started to use book defenses and they trickled here to Xbox. I don’t share any teams unless I know I can beat them and trust me, I got scary defenses I won’t use or share until then.
So, we tested the above team against tak defence and would average around 2 wins out of 10. We tried switching up by using more of the troop that puts out yellow lightning gems and it immediately backfired on us. We did eventually tweak it and added another troop, which actually won 10 times in a row. But it usually wins around 8 out of 10 attempts. However, there are better troops out there and we created another team that would destroy that defense instantly. The top troop would be killed instantly on our first turn and if we are lucky, we would kill one of the taks on the first turn as well. Since we created such a powerful offense, we needed to update our defenses to prevent this team from winning. And so using elemental class is a handicap. There are 4 other classes better suited for defenses and so more than half our defenses are utilizing the other classes. Our scores are reflecting all of our hard work. The third guild we are facing will probably score 10k+ and we will hit 45k again for the third time. FYI: We just hit first place in guild wars since the update.
