Guild Wars Reimagined

It was from the first sneak peak and, as mentioned, this could be changed and it seems to be changed. But hey, it can be changed another time, i suppose

As said here:
https://gemsofwar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000250656-Guild-Wars
Conquest Bonus
Defeat all Locations in the Keep, in a Guild War day - 1,000 points
Note: Your Guild only needs to have 1 win in each Location for it to be considered defeated.

As I read this - conquest bonus is one-time bonus

@Jeto Is a conquest bonus one-time optainable at a day or guild may beat every building in a keep 2 times and get conquest bonus 2 times?

Each day you face a different Guild and their Keep, so each day you can get that bonus once.

Sorry! My misunderstanding :woman_facepalming: you can get it more than once a day, but then it resets each day as you face a new Guild daily.

So each full set collected, will reward 1,000 points.

To achieve multiple conquest bonuses, you would need to be in a full Guild or close to full, as each player can complete 5 battles in one day.

At a minimum, a 3-person Guild could earn one Conquest bonus in a day.

@Jeto Hi!

Also then a clarifying question about the Defence setup

Which Hero traits from the talent tree (1, 5, 10, 20, etc.) will be in the defense during battles during guild wars when there is a Hero in the team?

  • those that will be selected from the hero in the setup defense?
  • those that will be set at the hero at the time of locking the defense team (an hour before the first day of the war) even if they are different from the original defense setup and have been changed for any event?
  • or will they be the same as those that are set at the hero at the time of the attack on him as it was in the previous version of GW?

Is everyone stuck using the blue keep for this guild wars?

Forgive me if this has been answered, but won’t Immortal teams just dissapear like they currently do in PvP if we set them?

No, that is the default but guild leaders can change it.

I am the guild leader and I can’t it’s locked in.

You can’t access it until 3 or 4 days before the event. Check again after weekly reset.

I hope that’s the case, but this article lists the same time frame as the opt in/ opt out which is ending at cut off tonight.

Yes, that text on the picture is really misleading, but as @Elfin said, we will be able to change the Keep map after the weekly reset. We will have 24 hours to make changes to the map after which it will be locked and then we have 2 days for the guild members to set their defense locations.

I just reread the helpdesk article, which says as much. Thanks.

Immortals disappearing in PvP happens when using in their home PvP regions without meeting region’s normal (kingdom / creature type / color) requirement. Team validator routine wrongly judges the team “not valid” and thus wipes it. When using Immortals that meet region’s normal requirement, the team does not get wiped.

In guild war there’s no PvP region and therefore you can only use Immortals that meet normal requirement. Those team will not get wiped.

@Jeto like last wars, is there a defense bonus for using all different weapons/troops? or can we use the same troops without losing score

You only have one defence team, so should not be possible to use the same weapon twice.

With regard to troops, I think jeto already confirmed there is no issue/penalty for duplicate troops on the same team.

Thank you for replying also @Jeto getting cliffy in citadel battles is not funny, I hope cliffy doesn’t ruin Xbox guild war experience

Is a Keep chosen for every day of Guild Wars or do we choose it only once and it is our color for all days of Guild Wars e.g. for 4 days we are the defenders of the Blue Keep?
Is it possible to change the chosen Keep? Is it possible to lock the chosen Keep so that no one can change it again?
I understand that I will not see the score, but will it be possible for the GM to determine who did not participate in Guild Wars on a given day?
Maybe they will display at least the players’ nicknames in the individual locations in defense?

From what I read, the Keep is chosen 3 days prior to the GW start and this is locked in for the entire GW event. So yes, for 4 days we are defending the “Blue” Keep if that is chosen.

Yes you can change the chosen Keep within that 24 hour period. Only the top ranking guild members can do this and it is locked to all other guild members. If you wish to lock it so only you as the GM can change it, then you would have to demote everyone else out of the top ranks so they cannot access it.

You are correct, we only see our own score and the total guild score as per the screenshots so it will not be possible to see who didn’t participate. When setting a defense location, you can see who else is on the same location - but this only applies to defenders. It won’t help you determine who actually attacked during GW.

Hope that helps a bit. I’m sure it will be easier once we all experience the first GW and then we can give feedback to help improve the GW for the next GW update.
