@Jeto i had a bug, I don’t want to submit a ticket because it’s a part of the feedback, I don’t care and didn’t affect me or my guild.
I took the bottom path, the fight before the palace, spam the A button (Xbox), that cause a game crash (that I think you’re aware) but after restart the game my victory was confirmed in middle path.
Like a said, I don’t care my guild is optional GW. But I imagine a guild play that seriously could affect the bonus points to complete all path.
What Jeto is saying is that we shouldn’t get our hopes up. The restriction planned for next GW is supposed to be a kingdom, not a color like we are currently seeing. It will most likely get changed to the intended restriction within the next days/weeks.
The only change I sometimes make to these teams is, if I’m at palace, and fighting double tak, I change class to elementalist. But I only do this occasionally.
If people are happy with their guilds having 30-40% win rate at top bracket range then all is good.
I suspect they aren’t.
It’s also not about winning every battle. It’s about for most players I would suspect, about a reasonably fair contest. It’s not a test of skill (there was some skill involved in old guild wars and there were also by and large options to counter opponents - balance). It’s pure luck you stun pre turn because multiples of pre turn mana generators can equal a 1 shot loss. Capped magic and + 15% stats will mean you will lose 2 troops if a Takshaka goes. So unless lucky, not skilled, you will likely lose.
Playing 15k teams is okay as their Taks won’t 1 shot. Playing 22.8/23k teams means they will.
Also in new guild wars vs triple meta, win condition obtained is no longer applicable, as 1 Tak left can still win or the keep sentinel will cast because you had to make many extra turns. Keep sentinel casting cost me losses this wars, filling Tak.
So a good start is to penalise multiple defenders that unbalance the battle with pre turn mana generation x3. Then take it from there.
nope, I can see my reply to you on Tue, 19 Aug 2025 at 9:32 AM AEST - either way, I just mentioned basically that we are investigating and when it is resolved, the mail will be sent out to everyone missing it.
Is there any chance that the issue is still caused by logging in immediately after weekly reset, and could be prevented (in the short term) by waiting a bit before playing? It would be good to know if every affected player played at reset.
There are similar issues with daily gold marks; for example, if you win a citadel and log in the next day within ~3 minutes of reset, your region bonus doesn’t appear until you later restart the game. This happens every day, presumably due to timing of server checks.
I likely had the GoW app open during the daily reset period, and likely closed the app, and restarted soon after daily reset to ensure the 7 free daily Underspire sigils appear in the inventory (otherwise they stay at zero).
However, this is no different to the first 3 days of the Guild War, and those days do not have an issue (likely because the reward is collected in the GW window rather than rely on an in-mail).
I could see it now. 3x Takshaka 3rd trait misses and gives the AI a 4 match of something with Elementalist, so you’re frozen/stunned with no way out, cascading into an Essence of Evil fill that casts on your first Takshaka and turns that Stellarix into a toad.
It’s not like anyone volunteers to vote for Red in PvP voting, even if it was as easy as you say it’ll be.
There will be a lot of wins, but some people will get caught for sure.
I think it might be harder there will probably be lots of red book defenses that will get filled first turn and can wreck you faster than the dragon and leave your whole team frozen if you get a turn
