Not without an update at best and probably never at worst.
We know the devs track damage dealt. If they record that number for both sides, and also the team composition, it should be possible to contest such a bug for limited cases. (I should note that this is a lot of data to be saving, so it’s certainly plausible that they don’t record those things.) If the total damage dealt to you is less than your troops’ life totals, and no enemy troops had devour, there is no way for all of your troops to have been killed with damage – even true damage.
Hey everyone, thank you (for the most part) keeping things civil. Yes, this thread auto closed because of a large amount of flags but I’ve been keeping an eye on it today and I’m grateful to see most of us conversing in a civilised manner.
We have been tracking the new scoring and will likely tweak a few small things at the end of the week. If we do so we will let you know what we are planning on adjusting.
Salty, was anything changed already? Was there an exploit that needed fixing?
Sirrian has already made a minor change that fixed a very hard to reproduce exploit. He fixed a small bug about 4 hours after Guild Wars went out.
About 1200-1300 points per game today with Green Seer/GS/Kraken x 2.

So that means the weekly scores are ‘false’ because of the existence of the exploit that some people HAD actually been able to reproduce. So what happens now?
It is possibly not as bad as you make it sound. Lets take this more or less as a test week, every rewards is a bonus. Nobody will die.
You’re correct, I’m not trying to make it sound bad but it was there and people used it. That’s all I’m saying.
I was told of 1 who accidentally did it but despite knowing what happened, no one else was able to deliberately reproduce it. Now this was early on Tuesday so it might had been patched at that time already or it was far more of a fluke than anything else.
I can’t see it having significant impact on this week to really worry about it. It may suck but I wouldn’t worry about it. It would be similar to getting credited for a loss despite winning. There’s always next week.
Used the two colour loop team and got around 1,1xx points for two matches.
Then used a loop/explode/generate team of all purple and got 1,3xx then 244 for a loss!
Then used Maw team and won on turn 2 for around 1,100 pts .
For a daily total of just over 5,000pts

Not too shabby for using 3 daily colors troops only, I think,
but still a little too early to know exact.

btw we lost our daily war by only 1k points yesterday. GW can still be very tight nowadays it seems.
I got 7007 yesterday, 3 colours. My ‘dwarfporn’ team. Here’s the my scores with the double kraken team All 4 troops survived, 3 green. Last battle won in one turn got second lowest point total!

I think all we can do is try to use the colour bonuses like before and just play like nothing has changed, (yes I know it has) and see what happens. It’s going to be altered, that’s surely a given.
i used a all purple loop team
got a perfect run. they had one turn for 3 mana and death doing two damage. scored 1455.
next game run was a lot lot worse and still got 1455.
final battle got smacked a little bit. dark manacles for 41 damage on all and lead troop reduces to three health by skulls. got 1360
Tuesday’s results (our green day) have the weird results with some unmatched changes not in place. Wednesday’s results (brown) are likely more indicative of what we’ll see for the rest of the week.
How many actions? Because I used an all purple loop team and won in 16 actions in maybe 6-8 turns and ended up at about 1740. A few mana starved rounds I got 1350ish. I played one single-purple looper that won in about 5 actions and enemy got no dmg but a bit of mana and got 1050. Meh.
i wasn’t counting actions so probably hit the 30 cap each time
