Sorry for the delay getting back to you, I’ve been sick. As for fitting more information on screen without zooming, would shrinking the task descriptions help? I was also kicking around an idea for making the column categories into three state toggles instead of two state, with the new state being to hide them entirely - so, you could hide the class or faction information entirely if you didn’t want to see it, for example. Those sound like promising approaches?
Oh, I’m sorry, I hope you’re feeling better now!
As for the rest, you’ve mentioned exactly the two things I was thinking about! Reducing the size of some elements, where possible, like the task descriptions you mentioned, enough to avoid scrolling left and right, would be a great idea.
The second option, the ability to hide some elements, could also be useful. Not only for the sake of having everything in front of you, without scrolling, but also because someone might prefer to have only the information they deem essential, hiding the rest.
For my part, I find pretty much all of the information useful, so I think option 1, reducing the size of some elements until everything fits on the screen without scrolling, is the best choice. So yes, it’s absolutely the best approach, and both are excellent ideas!
Thanks again for your work!
Still sick, but I think I’m on the mend. I went and applied the fixes, check out the site and tell me what you think?
I hope you feel better soon!
I checked out the website, and for me, it’s perfect. It seems like a small thing, but it’s not; everything is more intuitive and easily visible. I hope everyone else appreciates it too. Thanks for these changes!
No problem, glad you like them! I’m also looking at the change someone requested for making completed but uncollected tasks more obvious. Does this look good?
Also need to remember to go update the achievements… And, while I’m at it, I might as well take the opportunity to wave my tip jar around: https://ko-fi.com/angularangel
Absolutely. I hadn’t thought of that, it looks much better. It’s definitely another great improvement.
Alright, pushed. Now for all the other stuff… XD
“Reach prestige level 50 on all kingdoms” .
Please add :
“Reach prestige level 40 on all kingdoms” .
“Reach prestige level 60 on all kingdoms” .
“Reach prestige level 70 on all kingdoms” .
Thanks for taking over this site and updating it! ![]()
One minor thing I noticed: on the Achievements tab, the pop-up for troops not yet at mythic with four copies defaults to “3” for anything missing 3 or fewer copies.
For example, I have 2 copies of Abynissia and 3 copies of Aguara, so those should display “2” and “1” respectively.
Regarding prestige levels for 40, 60, and 70, I don’t see those on the steam achievements… Actually, I don’t see achievements for prestige levels on steam. Is this a custom request, or…? I’m not sure if I should deviate from the steam achievements… But those seem to be missing for prestige levels anyway, so… ![]()
Oh, and I fixed the bug for the ‘collect and ascend all troops’ achievement, while I’m at it.
Edit: Oh, right, I also added Maelstrom Dago and the floral dragons and their weapons to the achievements. Still need to find the right values for the evil dragons, but that can wait.
40,50,60,70 - give +1 !! And this is important for players
The majority (if not all) of Gemologica achievements are unrelated to Steam achievements, unless I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying
Okay, sorry for the radio silence, still been sick, and busy with other stuff. I went ahead and updated the prestige level achievements - made them be for every ten levels up to 70.
