The indicator of that there is an extra turn on the board needs to arrive faster, so we doesn’t have to wait to see it. This is because it takes up to 2 seconds before it indicates there is a potential extra extra turn, this could take 0,5 seconds to 1 seconds, instead.

Suggestion for game improvement. The arrow above the team that is currently taking their turn, could it have a number on it indicating what turn it is? For modes like journey and guild wars, where you need to know how many turns you’ve taken for scoring, it would be useful to have some way to track this, other than just counting it yourself.

Otherwise, that info could go in the pause menu, but the pause menu redesign has pushed info over multiple pages already, so I hesitate to add more. On the other hand, if they reverted it back to all the existing info on one page, and put a second page with all the info you might need for scoring, such as what turn number it is, how many extra turns each side has had, your longest match, etc (all of which is already tracked because it uses that info for scoring and shows it at the end of PvP battles), that would work fine and make the pause menu easier to use as well.

Game improvement.

Vault keys, instead of doing the battles, can we just convert the keys, to the rewards.

Like we do with chest keys, as we’re guaranteed the rewards, even if the gnomes run, so why waste time.

Obviously maybe from level 1100.

As early game players, may lose fights against gnomes.

If I’m making a ā€œminorā€ improvement to the Vault? How about making the Epic Vault key a battle against 4 x Cedric, instead of the hodgepodge mess that we get now? It wouldn’t be quite so good as improving the Cedric drop tables, but having four rolls at it following a battle is bound to give ā€œbetterā€ results as viewed by the player opening the rewards.

Take chaos shards out of epic vault key and Cedric himself. Them rewards are anything but ā€œepicā€

This is not good since vault battles give 2 class xp so good for class leveling

I’m sure if we convert 30 vks, then 60 class points can be in rewards.

Not that difficult.

But for which class? Since you didn’t fight the battle with a class, how would the system know which class xp to generate?

I want to suggest they add more options for fonts. The old one, the new one and any others they want to add. Just give us more choices, please.

Hello,
I really hope that after this big update the developers can finally focus on what I believe is a pretty critical matter for the appeal and long‑term health of the game. I genuinely love Gems of War and I’d like to keep playing it for many more years, so I want to highlight some issues that have been left unattended for far too long and really deserve serious attention.

IN‑GAME OFFERS

  • Review cash offers by lowering prices and increasing rewards, and make them scale with player level. A level 500 player has very different needs compared to a level 2000 player.

Example: Ring of Wonder offer, definitely not worth 20$, price should be lowered OR rewards boosted, same for Growth Packs (so outdated):

The offer below example, it’s completely absurd

  • Rework resource offers like Daily Deals, Flash Offers, and all offers purchasable with resources, again scaling them by player level.

Another example of an overpriced offer (with gems this time)

  • Fully implement the ā€œResourcesā€ section of the Shop, adding more items purchasable with Gems/Glory/Gold. Right now only Gold, Souls and Maps are available, which is a waste considering how many resources the game has.

REWARDS

  • Update all event rewards and refresh/add new resources to Legendary Tasks, which still give rewards from 10+ years ago.

  • Add more rewards to all types of passes and lower their prices. Doing this of course means more people buying passes!

VIP LEVEL

  • Increase the VIP level cap beyond 20 — maybe up to 30 or even 50. The bonuses at level 20 aren’t that strong anyway, so there’s plenty of room for expansion.

SOULFORGE

  • Allow crafting of Verses or at least let us exchange 2 Verses for a chosen 1.

  • Add more uses for Cursed Runes and other old resources piling up (Ingots, Traitstones, Jewels).

  • Add more recipes in general.

TROOPS

  • Update all non‑meta troops to make them more viable (boosted magic, improved traits/spells), especially mythics and legendaries that have fallen behind.

PVP

  • Update the PvP shop so players can buy more items with Gold/Silver Marks.

EXPLORE

  • Remove Genie and Demon entirely (they’re useless even for new players).

  • Add a third choice for Merchant/Angel offers, including better rewards like Verses, Gems, Glory, Marks, Orbs, or even Books.

  • Lower the prices of purchasable options. (360 gems for an Epic Vault Key or 100,000 Gold for 2 Mythic Ingots is just nonsense)

CHEST OPENING

  • Let players open more chests at once, or manually enter the exact number.

  • Let players choose whether to use resources or keys (if both are available).

The point is: the game is extremely grindy, and F2P progression is so slow that high prices on offers don’t make sense. There’s plenty of room for paid progression already. That’s why prices should be lowered and rewards increased, even just to attract new (paying) players.

I’m sorry if anything I wrote sounds arrogant — that’s not my intention. I’m not an economist and I don’t develop games; this is simply my honest view as a long‑term F2P player.

@Febby I will bump this thread to hopefully raise awareness of things that we want improved in patch 9.2. They are probably working through the community survey that we did last year, so I don’t know when they will get to it (if ever).

But in-game offers and purchases are extremely outdated, and it’s probably why they are losing money. Only the Death Knight armor and Campaign pass have good value–everything else just falls off, until you get to some of the worst offers that 99% of people just ignore. And the merchant offers are pretty absurd–only the writs and deed offers make sense because everything else is a waste of your gold and gems.

I still purchase Yasmine / Orpheus / Aranaea tokens (and badges) when they pop up. They may not be "great valueā€, but so long as I have the gems to spare I’m willing to swap them in return for not having to grind as much Explore.

(I don’t need Nyshas, because all my Mythics other than Krag’rax are at Gold Elite and Krag’rax is at Silver Elite. I don’t need Gaards because all my Commons are at Gold Elite. And I don’t buy Anus because I’m working through that tier of troop with the orbs I farm from the Underspire each week.)

On the other hand, I have stopped purchasing colored deeds. It’s not that I don’t need them, because only 13 of my kingdoms are at Level 20 / Power Level 30, but they don’t come in enough of a quantity to out-weigh what I’m picking up from the PvP shop and Journey events (and the occasional Campaign-based award).
