[FIXED] Red Cap bug or inaccurate description

Platform, device version and operating system:
Windows / Steam

Screenshot or image:

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Red Cap’s text reads: Deal [Magic + 4] true damage to an Enemy. If the Enemy has Hunter’s Mark, Faerie Fire all Enemies. I would expect this to mean he’ll do true damage to an enemy and then if that enemy has a hunter’s mark debuff then faerie fire will be applied to all enemies. How it actually works is if ANY enemy has hunter’s mark faerie fire is applied to all enemies and then true damage is applied.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Every time.

Steps to make it happen again
Use his ability on any enemy if any enemy has hunter’s mark.

Not to mention that as usual the fearie fire appear before any damage is dealt, lvl 500 faction run gonna be fun without potions with red caps 1 hittting stuff.

Would be interesting if this weren’t a glitch. The wording is similar to Spectral Knight, Hippogryph, and Crimson Arrow, do those troops work differently?

Yeah those work differently. The ones you mention require the targeted enemy troop to have the required status effect to deal extra damage. Just did some tests in Explore to confirm.

Where are the devs? No responses of any kind, no nothing.

Moreover, while I was probably having similar thoughts/feelings, most of Australia has just had a long/3-day weekend due to a Public Holiday, so it’s not particularly unreasonable that this hasn’t been actioned or added to the Known Issues list yet, either.

Seems likely to be a bug, then. Won’t really change how Red Cap is used outside of delves (not at all, either way), and seems to be a net negative for the player (makes taking on the faction team harder without providing corresponding benefit), so they should probably fix this.

Hey folks, this has been fixed now
