that destroys hald of the fun of the effort to get the troop level ascend and traiting it. i dont like it plus its against the gacha economy

3 units is like 4 units in offense though. Many combinations only need 3 units to work well… the 4th is only there because there’s more space and it won’t damage the team to bring in an additional safety or fodder xD

For hard mode you need to block 2 slots and be left with only 2 working troops.

The troops would be taken back after the battle so I don’t see the problem. You will have a sort of teaser of how good a troop could be when he’s ascended and traited so maybe more motivation to have/ascend/trait this troop.
And as said, every players would be on the same ground.

Funny that you mention dungeons being too easy. Today I forgot to switch out my explore team, so as an experiment I decided to keep going. Finished all 3 with my Princess/Bombot team with only 1 troop lost total (not including those Elspeth whacked).
