Become a little stronger (armor+health boost) for every damage prevented this way.

or a real low defense troop that when dies apposing team gets a big aoe dmg/ disease maybe , they can carry salmonella

Not a monster? Are you referring to the type monster, so it’s divine, right?
Why not get a troop that summons these and when this troop dies it summons a cockatrice?

To be fair so do digimon and there is an egg monster in digimon and togapi is an egg pokemon.

which brings us to the question: which was first: the eggmonster or the cockatrice?
I think it could be the first of a linked 2 cards: where it uses “hatch”, evolves into a stronger monster (attack-wise) but with stats based on the remaining life and armor you had on it (so it can synergize with buffers pre-hatch as well), and deal that remaining armor life, boosted by magic (times xx) vs all enemies. You know… eggshell-grenade!
