Dragonite added to rewards pool

Thread started by a person buying dragonite over n over to then just get duplicates keeps buying said dragonite just to get duplicates.

Smart person they will for sure listen to im sure

Dragonite should be added to the rewards pool of epic vault keys. That would really make them epic

And the spawn rate for a Dragonite gnome could use a little buff. Two easy ways to tweak the amount of Dragonite and making the hunt more fun

Great suggestion that would benefit the players so really look forward to it never being implemented

Well, Dragonite got introduced in underspire. Although very rare, still a step in the right direction. But with the release of the new evil dragons and the flaw of endless pulling of dupes, it should be addressed further

I think we all understand that the game should stay balanced and Dragonite should not be available in abundance, but it feels like it is now too scarce (and thus unbalanced)

@Jeto what’s the devs team view on this? Any improvements planned?

It was already suggested 5 years ago to add a curse gnome to evk’s:

And at some point later to change it to a dragonite gnome, but neither happened.

So don’t hold your breath on anything soon or at all for that matter. :person_shrugging:t2:

True, but the game has changed a lot in 5 years. Also the need for Dragonite has increased.

Changing drops in an epic vault key or increasing the drop rate of the gnome is literally half an hour work for a dev. It’s not eating away resources from other developments.

Hope they discuss this during coffee break and decide to do it

All game ceos look for player retention

Players playing the game.

Dragonite needs to be made grindable somehow.

It will add players playing. Its a bad business model atm. Making the most needed resouce. Time gated every day to. Dungeon or pvp.

This game is ran, like a youth work experience project.

However, the devs lack of understanding of the game and lack of empathy for the playerbase has not.

They dont need empathy

They need to read business 101.

Time gating makes players leave for 24 hours, all other mobile time gating games. Have a lot of ways to buy the stuff.

This game time gates, and says just wait.
Its bad business.

Empathy in business is weekness. Sorry. But it is.

Empathy is not weakness. If you can’t understand the plight of the playerbase, you can’t adjust the game to keep it going. Consistently pissing off the playerbase is weakness.

Like i said. Its a bad business model.

But business is money msking , not empathy.

Give the players , what makes the business money. Thats grindable dragonite.

We agree what should happen.

Just you call it empathy. And i call it business.

Empathy is giving somthing, even if its bad business. Like charity.

Empathy is not giving, it is understanding.

Its giving fake understanding.

Then going back to eating steak. While others starve. Fact.
Empathy is saying the right thing to appease the person needing empathy .

Then carrying on as normal. Fact.

This is empathy.

Jeto saying i know you need dragonite, il tell the devs. Then nothing happens. Thats empathy. Telling you what you need, showing understanding. Then nothing happens. Empathy.

This was only an update or two ago, so there has not yet been any further discussions around more places for Dragonite to be included.

Ow, was hoping for a different answer there.

But thanks for taking the time to react @Jeto , much appreciated ! As you can see in this thread and others, this topic has us all worked up a bit. Hope you can make the community happy again in a future update

@Pim The ā€œfutureā€ will be here sooner than you think…wink*

If a resource is ā€œgrindableā€, it doesn’t make the developers money. Not in the way that some people believe it does. Any resource you can accumulate more of ā€œfor freeā€ simply by playing more doesn’t make the developers money; it might actually do the opposite in that you’ll spend more time taxing their servers with your play rather than forking over actual currency of actual value.

Except your wrong

Every resource was grindable apart from curse runes and draginite.

And the playerbase was higher.

Heres how it works, we grind , we spend more time on the game. Which makes them miney.

We may get the dragons in 6 to ten months.

Then in 12 months. Here come the next dragonite eggs.

Rinse and repeat. Its a well used business model. So you can disagree, but your wrong.

This model if used. Keeps high end players whales playing every day. Equsls. Money money money.

Atm nothing for endgamers to do equals less money money money.

The way there doing it now is, more and more , get behind the curve on eggs and dragonite. Until they say i quit. To say to customers im sorry its sold out , keep checking every day. Which is the analogy of time gating. Doesnt end well.

I reiterate you can disagree, but every online game ever made. Wants people playing every dsy, thats were a grindable resource makes money.

Lol taxing there servers.

Less than ten thousand at peak in history.

Max at any time 3k people.

If youve a server thsts getting taxed. You need to upgrade from the 2005 server. Damn dude really you said that

Do you think there making more money now. Were wanted resource is time gated.

Or more money in the 1st 7 years. Were everyine grinded everything, and whales stayed. And the ceo made money lol.

Your thinking small time, if somthing is grindable. No one spends. But thats evidencially wrong. Shown by the 1st 7 years of grindable resources.
