Pharoah Khafru, right?

Last word from the devs is they are implementing a client fix in the 8.2 update, but due to how unpredictable this is it will be difficult to verify if it fixes the issue or not.

re: Khafru - we’ve got a potential fix for this in the next game update v8.2 [ . . .] Also, probably not a Khafru specific issue, but it does seem to trigger more often with this troop, possibly even just due to the popularity of the troop and other factors, so it was easiest to encounter and notice with this troop. Hopefully the change we’ve made will solve this but it isn’t straight forward so we’ll know it worked if no one encounters the issue again in 8.2.

In the meantime, for the upcoming Vault Weekend just use any “safe” (non-Khafru) team. 3x Ironhawk + any Empowered is a major go-to for E1 runs by anyone with enough airships (lacking that, personally I run Slayer + Horned Asp + Spirit Fox for the Slayer’s 3rd trait).

It never happened to me before today and I use PK a ton. I don’t think it could have been the AI PK as he was stunned.

Wait, what? Stratelier’s answer was useful here: the bug has not returned, it simply hasn’t been fixed by a release yet.
