And if you’re unwilling to spend 1 gem then your stuck. Personally I figure that’s what the heck they are for, spending to make the game a better experience. However you define it. I can get that 1 lousy gem back several ways.
Damn I get tired of all the cries to nerf or change, and it all comes down to please devs make it easy for me to win every time. Any card that can potentially beat you nerf! My cards aren’t great but I have choices in opponents. I can change up a team.
You water down the cards you face you water down the cards you use. Keep doing that and it’s time to find a game that doesn’t kiddy proof it’s difficulties.
No go on complaining and when the game gets to easy complain about that. I’m out of this discussion. I’m a horrible person for enjoying a challenge once in awhile. Bye
You’ve been here, what, six months and you are tired of this? Bless.
Er, no, not what it’s about (for me anyway).
I’ve been here over two years and I am tired of people over-simplifying this kind of balance or mechanisms debate.
Bone Dragon needs fixing, simple. It is broken. It was designed when the highest Armour in the game was about 15. As Armour crept up, its boost ratio got nerfed once - which helped, for a while. Now it’s broken again, and when we get 10 star kingdoms and extra stat points, it will be even worse. (almost) All other gem creators got redesigned to not scale with Magic or other stats - this one got missed, and devs (who have limited time and resources) didn’t fix it yet.
Devs never declare anything about Bone Dragon being broken or not…
And he still doesn’t scale with Magic… Only the Armor that he gains… Nice try ;-).
Again you should use it. 10 times, 100 times at least. You will discover that sometimes he misfires (even against 30+ Armor, believe or not). And when it happens you can say bye bye to one or two of your troops.
And what happens when there is no enemy with Armor? You don’t use it.
What’s the goal of this video with only one fight? Do the same with at least 5 consecutive fights.
Or you can do the same with Death or whatever troops that have Devour, do 1,000 battles and keep the only one where you were super lucky with a lot of devours ;-).
More seriously, if you want to nerf him, you are going to kill this troop… If he become too much unreliable, nobody will use it anymore (like most of the troops that were nerfed).
Next time, it will be Maw because he has 100% Devour? Oh no, he was already nerfed and was already put in the useless troop set…
Don’t be deliberately obtuse. I said Magic or other stats and this one scales with the Armour hit.
For only 14 mana, he should be unreliable. Casting spells onto the board should be a gamble. Shegrra, IK and KoS are a gamble unless you pick your moment well.
Maw’s spell is a guaranteed kill, but costs 24 mana, and can’t fill in two turns. Famine’s spell (if timed right) is a guaranteed kill, but costs 20 mana and is situational.
Maw is far from useless. The balancing change done was to his devour-on-attack trait, which was over-powered. He’s still perfectly viable for use, a decent legendary troop.
Which troops that create gems which scale on another stat than Magic were redesigned?
KoS/Sheggra/IK are all reliable in the hand of the player so I assume you consider only these troops in defense. The main difference between Bone Dragon and KoS, it’s just that the AI is doing sh*t with KoS. Now for Sheggra and IK, the AI doesn’t play them badly.
Don’t forget that without Armor in the enemy team, you cannot do anything with BD compared to the 3 other troops. So he’s also situational ;-).
Do you really think that it’s just a question of mana? Will you be happy if devs put his required mana up to 16/18/20 mana?
Maw disappears from the Defense as soon as he was nerfed from what I see in PVP + this graph. I still used it but we are talking about the “OP troops” that the majority of players put in their defense, no?
Welcome to the bone-zone
You actually get a challenge? This game is ridiculously easy. This discussion is not, and has never been, about difficulty.
Alright Jainus you’ve done it. You’ve made me laugh. Starting 2017 off special.
Since bone dragon creates skulls based on the amount of enemy armor, it scales.
Bone Dragon is much more powerful against a level 1000 player than it is again a level 100 players.
It’s super powerful against any troops that buff armor.
So even a low level bone dragon against a troop with 45 armor would be a screen full of skulls.
On the other hand, a maxed out bone dragon above 1000 would be bad against a level 200 player with low armor troops. This makes bone dragon miss and not get an extra turn, leaving the board with extra skulls for the enemy.
