Campaign rewards stage ladder needs to fit the average player

I think after playing quite some the latest week (over average) and how slow the ladder is progressing that something is off with it. So an adjustment is much needed.

The difference shouldn’t be that massive compared to how it was before. I get it’s all is a little different now, so it makes sense it is longer than before.

I’d say it’s thanks in large part to the devs’ asinine decision to make daily Dungeons and Adventure Board (or whatever they changed the name to, Plunder something) completely worthless for campaign star progress.

That’s no less than 12 battles per day, sometimes more. Across a 10-week campaign that’s at least 840 battles for anyone finishing them all. Before patch 8.6 this made a substantial dent in campaign progress; some weeks you could finish a whole week’s worth without touching anything else. Now they’ve chosen to make those 840 battles worth absolutely NOTHING toward the campaign ladder.

The most infuriating part was the smoke they blew at us before the rework that we should “lookout for some really cool changes to Campaigns” centered around “reduc[ing] the amount of things that feel like they need to be done every day” and “consolidating things, so you can do two at once – or shortening things, so they take less time to complete.” As flagrant lies go, this one was pretty exquisite.
