Campaign Begins: Seal of Kurandara

So when do we hear more about this?

I’d say its been a few weeks since the campaign started…

It probably has the same droprate chance as epic vault keys. “10%”

No later than 14 Sep. Allegedly. Few = eight to nine weeks, soon > twelve months.

@Saltypatra First players got Heart of Rage, maybe now its time for some more information about it or do we have to wait till 5.2?

As useless as this looks, I’d say 1st part of the recipe for the green/brown/purple Dawnbringer. Whose name better be Nightfall. I will accept no other.

From her stream yesterday… nope.

From her streaming schedule:

14th September 6 30 PM PDT: Kurandara mythic preview stream.

I’d say that the stream next week would be the absolutely earliest to hear about the recipe, given that next week is the first week Elite+ players gain access to both the mythic and the heart, and then could perform the recipe in question.

Pretty sure it’s part of the recipe to craft Enraged Kurandara. Wonder what it’ll require more though. I assume Kurandara itself too and some Power orbs.

Well, that would enrage me. That’s for sure.

But it would fit very well in the current pay or hit the wall game they’re playing

Also, it’s the only Mythic troop in the data files that doesn’t have a release date yet as far as i know.

I don’t know what that Heart of Rage does but it seems to me Enraged Kurandara isn’t that much of an upgrade from regular Kurandara.

Enraged Kurandara
+9 (26->35) mana cost could mean it never gets cast, but
gains immunity to Zuul kills (lethal damage), EoE transform
damage ALL enemies instead of ONE

For an end gamer with say 55 magic and 5 doomskulls on the board, it’s 110 damage to everyone

Couple it with your favorite doomskull creator, and after the initial doomskull explosions, the remaining doomskulls on the board may be enough to insta-wipe the entire opposing team at 10 AoE damage per doomskull left on the board.

Quick thoughts on week 9 tasks:
No 2-day dungeon. Yes! Thank You!
Still having resource tasks: Booooo! Stop bleeding the players!
3 90+ Delves. Really? So you can spend 100 gems to skip, a minimum of 90 (more likely 210) to get enough tiers on tuesday. Or do the daily delves. Which for a growing number of people means 500 or nothing. Way to punish those who have spent time, gold & gems to finish all the delves. What the hell is wrong with making the task 50+?
While I appreciate being able to do the campaign tasks in one day if I want, having to choose to either overspend on gems (level 80-90 gets you all the rewards on the tuesday event) or having to run 3 500 level delves is frustrating as hell.

I always spend 30 gems on Tuesdays anyway, so only cost me +60 (I just happened to finish a Faction 500 as well, that day… Primal Rift, done! )

My concern is if we get one of these during week 10. It’ll be level 110 right, meaning I would have to use all 3 daily runs on it. I’m trying to use the campaign skill boosts to get Pure Factions done :stuck_out_tongue:

Just find a delve that allows for HKI/ZG (CoT for example) and it’s not horrible. Delve-luck will screw you sometimes, as always, on level 500.

Why is Kurandara in the unowned list but Heart of Rage isn’t?

Kurandara had to be released early for the troop to be eligible to appear in Explore mode for players not in a guild, so that they would be able to clear that Campaign task.

The Heart appears to be coded to be released during the week of the Campaign where it is relevant, which is this coming week. At least, that’s how it’s currently coded even if some Elite+ passholders already have the troop.

Seems that i wasn’t far off

Still no official statement about the bugged forge price?
